Summary: This was my first VRBO and I was really impressed.The location was perfect. 15 minute drive to Seaside, 5 minutes from ShopRite and Dunkin’ Donuts.Try Mac’s pub on Wednesdays for bingo and trivia!The pool and yard on the bay were so beautiful we didn’t bother with the beach.People in the area were really nice.The home was clean and we felt really comfortable. Can’t wait to come back

Summary: When we arrived we noticed the property did not really match the description, it was 3 bedroom not 4, there was no fire pit, the outdoor furniture was different than pictured and broken. But once we checked in we had much larger issues, the bed sheets on 2 of the beds had large gross blood stains, the pool was very dirty and the grill started on fire when we tried to use it and looked as though it had never been cleaned. The property also is a bit beat up, holes and marks all over the walls, overall not nearly as nice or clean as pictured or described. I contacted the property owner and while she was responsive, we didn’t get new sheets until the next morning and had to make the gross beds ourselves, the pool never got cleaned and my husband spent an hour cleaning grill so we could use it. She was nice and sent lunch for inconvenience but that was not nearly enough to cover all the issues we had. The neighbors also mentioned other couples had complained of same issues and grill always caught on fire. This is unacceptable and I would not recommend this property, we took a chance because it was a new listing without reviews and hope no one else makes the same mistake. This is more of a party house than a clean family vacation home.

Summary: When I booked this property (back in the winter) it was a new listing with no reviews. I then went on and read Ashley H's review of "the party house" that was published 8/11 right before I checked in. I was a nervous wreck! That review could not have been any more inaccurate! (The only truth was that the outdoor furniture was different than what was pictured and that there was no fire pit- but to be honest the fire pit was not listed as an amenity on the VRBO site anyways) The house itself was clean and well decorated. There was minimal wear and tear noted but nothing that would make me describe the home as not clean. The white linens were in pristine condition! Now for our review: We had a great time staying at the Herndanez's beach home! The house is on a quiet dead end and there is water access right in the backyard. We brought our kayaks and had a great time exploring the local waterways. The house is minutes away from the Bay Beach and a pirate ship playground that the kids loved! The pool was great! That is where we spent most of our time. We loved utilizing the downstairs game room where they had billiards and darts. A few more things members of my family loved were the waterfall shower, outdoor hook/ring game, and the Rae Dunn decor. The Herdandez family was a pleasure to work with. They were great at communicating and made the entire experience simple and enjoyable. The even treated us to lunch one afternoon! I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family.
