Positive: The guesthouse is truly convenient for a night in addu. Installations are new, room & bed are comfy. Close to the beach and restaurants Addu can offer. Ibrahim is also an incredible host!

Positive: The room was very clean and well maintained. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We experienced some issues with our ferry booking, but he immediately assisted us and did everything he could to help us out. He is genuine and truly cares about his guests having a pleasant stay. He also has a lot of contacts, so if you encounter any problems with ferries or flights, he will gladly help you out. We felt very welcome and well taken care of 😊

Positive: Comfy bed and large room with private bathroom. The staff (Ashfan) was very diligent and helpful to get me settled. He spoke excellent English and had a good predisposition (helped me find a dive shop, bus schedules, etc).. The property is very close (400 metres) to MTCC ferry in Feydhoo (about 2 kms from Gan International Airport). Very clean. Large common area for TV and small very basic kitchen.

Negative: Kitchen could use a microwave and a common fridge (it is hot in Maldives!)

Negative: The sulphur (rotten eggs) smell (and yellow colour) from the water in one bathroom. Also the lack of bins in my room. The kettle had a plug in it that didn’t fit in the wall sockets so I couldn’t use it.

Positive: We booked Clove Beach for 3 nights on Gan before joining our liveaboard. This is advisable as the flights into Gan can be changed / cancelled at short notice.The rooms were clean and tidy, with fan & A/C, reasonable WiFi, and tea making facility. What stood out for me was the proprietor, Ashfam, who was extremely helpful before and during our stay, arranging taxis and providing local recommendations. There are two or three very good local restaurants within 3-5minutes' walk.

Negative: Nothing stands out to dislike. The accommodation met my needs and expectation.

Summary: Excellent customer service.

Positive: Clove Beach is a reasonable option in Gan, Addu as it is not very developed and mostly serves as a stop-over for liveaboards and other destinations. Very close to the live aboard marina and the Elly restaurant I appreciated their service and clean facilities.
