Summary: Room had paper thin walls, could hear conversation very clearly without even trying. Canal wasn’t as pleasant as listed. Found ants inside the dresser. Smelled strong of mold/mildew.

Summary: Facility very dated, needs much updating. Pool filter never on but not filthy. Keurig coffee pot in room, coffee provided horrible. Suggest bringing your own. Right on the busy roadway so very loud traffic noise at all times. Hard to exit out if lot going left. Rooster on site to wake you at 6:30a every morning.

Summary: This property is conveniently located right off US one in Marathon. My room faced the highway, so there was a lot of traffic noise, but that didn’t really bother me so much. My first evening on property, a man approached me in the parking lot and asked for money. That was offputting and a little frightening. I continued to walk past my room so he didn’t know where I was staying. That felt very unsafe. My car was parked just outside my room. It was about 830 at night so it was already dark outside. The room was large and spacious. Very clean, but no table for the sofa or any other desk or workspace. There’s certainly plenty of room to put some additional furniture. Bed linens were very nice. Plenty of towels. While the pool area seems well maintained and the furniture is very nice including the umbrellas, there was a distinct garbage smell the day I was at the pool, which was overpowering. There’s a lot of chickens running around the property near the pool, which didn’t bother me, but I could see how they would be intimidating to small children or folks who aren’t familiar with chickens and how they can be. There is no ice machine anywhere, but the lobby staff is happy to provide bags of ice for you if you ask. All in all, this was a great location for me to serve as a base while here in the keys..

Summary: Great location in Marathon and absolutely worth the stay. The pool area was clean and well‑maintained, with convenient restrooms nearby. We stayed in room 501, and from that room up to around 519 you have your own little backyard facing the canal. We sat out there every evening and enjoyed dinner at sunset — perfect for us.

Summary: The first problem was we got into our room and you could tell that the bathroom was never cleaned. They were dirty and wet towels and the shower was still dirty with hair and other things. We went down to tell the desk clerk and they gave us another room to go to and as it turns out as soon as we open the door you could see that neither one of the beds was ever made and I'm not sure that room had been cleaned yet either. Keeping in mind this is it 8:30 at night so not sure what the problem was. So we ended up going back to the first cabin and they gave us clean towels but we just had this uneasy feeling about the cleanliness of the room. Considering what we were paying for this room, it was pretty appalling honestly.
