Positive: Raj and Jovin, the staff were super helpful and nice with everything we asked. The house is nice and rustic with real Kerala vibe. There are shops, ferry stops and a hospital close to the guest house. It’s in a quiet and calm part of the neighborhood - it is so much better to stay here, in the heart of the canals, than in Alleppey! You can explore the county by foot as well - the canals, rice fields, magical!

Negative: The only issue was the lack of cleaniness - the bathroom, the kitchen, the fridge, walls, the rugs, etc.

Positive: Beautiful property located in such a tranquil setting on the water down one of the quiet side canals. Room and whole place were extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. Raj was always on hand on the property if we needed anything and the owner via WhatsApp always responded asap to any queries we had, he even helped arrange a lovely canal boat ride.

Positive: We loved the remote location overlooking a small canal, the heritage style of the building with typical Kerala features, and Jovin was so helpful in arranging boat travel, kayaking and having our food delivered to the home stay. We had our meals in the family kitchen served by Raj who was lovely. Sitting outside on the front veranda in the evening was something special.

Negative: Be aware that you need to walk the last part of the path to get to the property or instead arrange a small boat to drop you in front. Jovin will help you with this.

Summary: Wonderful hideaway along the backwaters of Alleppey.
