Summary: An amazing beach front bach with all the comforts of home. Located on a isolated beach meant an ideal place for a few days away. Long empty beach and rocky headlands with seal colonies adding to the fantastic location. Thank you Jennifer and Ross for being able to stay and enjoy your lovely bach.

Summary: We only spent two nights here and wished we'd stayed for a week. A fabulous A-frame, right on the beach at the end of a long gravel road - so much glorious solitude, sea and sky. It's a well-loved and cared-for family crib with a wonderful history and we really appreciated all of the little bits and pieces and creature comforts that made it feel like home. A sunny garden, sensational views, sheltered spots in which to sit and read. So many birds and seals. The constant sound of waves and wind and a sense of being away from the world. We loved absolutely everything about it.

Summary: Perfect spot to escape for a couple of days. Taking long walks on the windswept beach, watching seals, sea lions, sea birds, finding time to read a book, enjoying a hot cup of coffee while the sun rises. Just a shame it was too windy for a cosy fire, and I couldn't find instructions/a hose for the outside bath. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is a great choice.

Summary: Secluded, homely, beachfront crib. We followed the gravel road down to the end and found a warm and comfortable beach house with amazing views. We had a truly relaxing stay with everything we could have needed. A handful of friendly passers by, pounding surf, snoozing and swimming seals and birdlife. Walked the golden sand into the distance on one side and explored sheltered, accessible golden coves fringed by rocks and kelp on the other. An evening sunset and shelter in the comfy outside area and neat wee garden. Bring your food and drink and be truly present in the peace and tranquility that this edge of the world experience offers. Many thanks to the hosts for sharing their slice of paradise.
