Summary: After a bad start due to filthy carpets and cold pizza things improved once in the bedroom. Nice hot shower, a comfortable nights sleep and a wonderful breakfast would rate this as an 8/10 for me. As we checked out the decorators were starting work and if the carpet fitters followed I would rate it at least a 9 for the price we paid.

Summary: Room smelled bad, was warm, and the bathroom flooded. There were very limited food options and communication with staff was difficult.

Summary: Perfectly situated for a mid holiday stop over. Reception were excellent no fuss getting checked in. Rooms adequate if not modernised but perfect for a family and all you need. Location is near a massive retail park 3 m ins drive where you can get some food in the evening hours. Breakfast was also spot on. Recommend a stay if passing.

Summary: Great value for money so I didn’t have high expectations. Our room was a decent size family room on the second floor, nice and clean. I would say the only real problem was the pillows. They were very flat and lumpy. Obviously been through the wash 100 times. Also the shower head wouldn’t stay in place but it was nice and hot They don’t have a kettle But it was very good value Staff were very helpful. Good location

Summary: Bargain option. You get what you pay for. The hotel offers very few facilities. No towels in bedrooms. No tea/coffee in room. No vending machines. Rooms are tired and unloved. Stains on carpets and walls throughout. Lots if noise from other guests through the night (stayed Saturday night). But it is very cheap, in a pleasant town and in a convenient location for onward travel.
