Positive: Property was located just off the highway. Places to eat are a short driving distance away. The property is undergoing renovations. My room was one of those newly renovated. The bed was fine; I had a good sleep. There is a really large flat screen TV that works fine. No Roku TV, so I was happy. The room has an outside door to a parking lot, so bringing in my luggage was quick and easy. They have a glass enclosed shower which worked just fine. They have a cooked complimentary breakfast in which I had coffee, toast, scrambled eggs and sausage. They also have a make your own pancake machine of some sort. All in all, I had a really good stay here.

Negative: Was puzzled at check-out. They couldn't issue to me a receipt because I purchased my room through a third-party website.

Negative: Booked it at $188 plus taxes two days before travel. Checked price the morning of travel, price had dropped to $163 plus taxes. Front desk person just shrugged.

Positive: I liked how friendly the staff was and the breakfast was pretty good for being free.

Negative: Unfortunately I wasn't aware upon booking that the hotel was under renovations, the fact the hotel was a mess from it didn't bother me as renos are an upgrade to the building but our room had a paint smell which made us choked up and we had to keep a window open for fresh air. Also, I requested a cot prior to arrival, it wasn't in the room so I called reception and she advised we couldn't have one since we already had 2 double beds, this wasn't told to me previously.

Summary: Not a bad hotel that just needs some work which is currently underway

Negative: Original room was on the back of the hotel, and parking was not ideal. It was dirty and hard to access.

Positive: A very newly renovated room was a pleasure to be in! Comfortable bed and ground floor was a bonus for all our luggage. Parts of the hotel are still under rennos but this had no effect on us. Attentive reception staff - thank you!
