2 Bedroom Apartment in Queenstown

Built in 1997, the downstairs apartment of our home is spacious and tastefully furnished with a mid-century vibe. Pieces by Noguchi, Mart Stam, and Poulsen (among others) feature. The apartment has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom plus a full kitchen with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave as well as a full laundry. The property has a heat-pump in the living area, panel heaters in the bedrooms and heated floors in the bathrooms (in winter) - super warm when it needs to be.
In the bathrooms you will find quality linens and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser & shower gel (no bar-soap).
The two bedrooms each have a queen bed with electric blankets (in winter). A third fold-out type bed is available for a 5th guest at an additional cost.
On request, the third bed can be made available if guests prefer not to share a queen bed. This will be at an additional one-time charge of NZ$35
The south-facing open-plan kitchen and living spaces have fantastic views of the lake, The Remarkables (mountain range) and across to Kelvin Heights.
Secure storage is available for bikes/sports gear/ski gear on request.
Free unlimited high-speed wifi and Netflix on a 58" 'Smart TV'.
The apartment is situated on Queenstown Hill. While the walk to town is quite doable, some will find the hill back up quite steep, so an Uber or a taxi may be an option.
An off-street carpark is available, but there is plenty of safe, free and unrestricted parking on the street outside the apartment.
Please note that the apartment is not wheel chair accessible as there are 15 steps from the drive to the door, along with a sloped area from the street. The apartment may not be suitable to those with mobility issues.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet location with amazing views of the mountains and lake. The accommodation was very well laid out and communication with the host was really easy. This was our favorite place by far of all the places we stayed in New Zealand.

Summary: This property was ideal for my husband, adult son and i on our last night on the South Island of NZ. We had travelled for 14 days and loved that we had a relaxing, clean and comfortable place to lay our heads for the finale of the trip. When we went outside we felt the view was welcoming us back to Queenstown with a huge hug. Perfect accomodadation.

Summary: We stayed in many locations over the past two weeks but this was by far the best. The decor, location, view, and overall accomodations were stellar. I highly recommend this unit, and wish we had stayed for longer.

Summary: The apartment was just as shown on the website. It was very clean, up to date and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay with another couple. The patio has a stunning view of the lake and mountains. And the owner was best we have ever had as far as being helpful. Definitely would stay here again
