Summary: The appartment is very well situated, close to the beach and the centre of Collioure, in fact there is no need to use a car if you stay in Collioure. At the same time it is very quiet (absolutely no sound of traffic in the night) and does not heat up too much in summer (we had up to 36 degrees outside). The appartment is spacious with a well furnished kitchen and working WIFI. The sound isolation within the house is not great: noise from the appartment above and the staircase can be heard, this may be annoying, depending on the neighbours. For us it was only a problem the day the neighbours left (with lots of noise at 6 in the morning).

Summary: After having spent years trying different studios and flats in Collioure, we were lucky to find this beautiful place a few years back. A spacious apartment in a closed residential area five minutes from the water (and the baker!) - what more can you want? When the host and the on-site representative are both concientious and pleasant and you can actually verify the ongoing maintenance of the proberty, it adds to the general feeling of comfort and security. The description of the property provided by the owner is correct in every respect. We have no qualms whatsoever about recommending this location, to couples as well as families, apart from the fact that we would rather want to keep it secret so that we'd have unlimited access ourselves. As for Collioure itself it has all the amenities you need, as well as highly exploitable surroundings whether you are in for good food and drink, water activities, motoring, high or low ground walking - or simply just want to do absolutely nothing. Few places are better equipped in these respects.
