Summary: The appt needs things to make the stay more enjoyable-more facecloths,towels and kitchen linens, better quality cookware and appropriate cookware to enable one to cook a meal, a fan in the second bedroom and a larger capacity dehumidifior. There was a salt shaker but no pepper.The appartment was extremely damp and hot for the full week stay- the floor was damp and slippery on some days. There were no instructions of what to do with the garbage, no wifi information etc and we had to call for that info as well as asking for more towels- there were 3 towels plus one facecloth for 4 of us. Much room for improvement

Summary: Decent space and relatively clean basement apartment (about 7 steps up, plus 10 outside stairs down), but several basic items missing. For 3 guests, only 1 facecloth and hand towel to share (grimy). Laundry load was left in washer. No dishcloth or dish towel for full kitchen, 1/4 roll paper towel (no extra). Only 4 dishes so had to wash after each meal/drink. Very scratched non-stick pan and old, worn frying pan. Had to email the host the night prior to request access details and wifi info was not provided. No sign or info for wifi in the unit, took over 2 hours for host to respond to text/phone messages requesting wifi password at time we said we would check in. Unit shows some wear and lack of maintenance - broken towel bar, hole in closet door, missing picture on wall. Great potential space, but needs some work/attention from the host to make this a 5 star property.

Summary: We stayed here for two nights so we could spend a little time in and around St. Johns. It was in a residential neighborhood, but a nice neighborhood. We did not meet our host, which shows a great level of respect for our privacy. I did correspond with him though the VRBO site, and I can tell you that he was very helpful and timely in sending confirmations, access instructions etc. The actual unit is like an in-law apartment in the basement of the house. It has it's own entrance at the back of the house. There are no stairs going to upper floor, so it felt very private. The unit has two Bedrooms, L/R-D/R, full kitchen, full bath, washer-dryer...it was very nice, clean and well kept. It was a perfect place for a quiet retired couple like us.

Summary: My mom and I book this Vrbo for our stay in St John's. It is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Close to many amenities and the city bus stop. The Vrbo was clean and spacious with 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and full kitchen. Hussein was very welcoming, kind and very accommodating for any of our needs. I would recommend this Vrbo.
