Summary: Our family stayed in this lovely home last weekend. The home is spacious and is equipped with everything you need. You and just pack your bag and enjoy. The host has provided everything from shampoo & conditioner to laundry detergent & dryer sheets. There are several seating areas in the home that provide plenty of space for privacy as well as seating for the whole family to hang out. The decor gives the home the cozy cottage feel as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this home again if the need arises

Summary: Went for a weekend to meet with grandkids. Plenty of room for everyone, and the toddlers loved the bunk beds. Easy driving distance to restaurants. We visited the US Space Museum - short drive and well worth it!

Summary: This property has been PERFECT for my twice monthly week-long stays in Decatur. Location is terrific, only 17 mins from HSV. Home is spacious, super clean, and so thoughtfully appointed. There was nothing I could have needed that wasn’t provided! From the basket of single serving snacks that awaited me, or the cold bottled water in the fridge, the hairdryer in *both* full bathrooms, the incredibly soft bed linens, throw blankets for cozy tv watching…. Just too many thoughtful touches to mention. Julie is a gem of a host!

Summary: The house was better than pictured. We were able to park out truck and boat on the street with easy access. Julie was very helpful and the went above and beyond with welcoming touches from a fully stocked coffee station to soap, lotion, & shampoos. She even left us snacks and bottled water. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Summary: This is a beautiful home! It was comfortable and clean and only a block from a very nice park. We walked on the walking trail, played pickle ball, went bowling, had a tour of ‘The Ole State Bank’, worshiped on Sunday morning and watched a lot of basketball! We plan to return asap! I would absolutely recommend this nice home away from home!

Summary: This property is so well kept. You can tell the hosts are extremely thoughtful. Not only was it clean, it was fully stocked with everything we needed for a week long stay. I was pleasantly surprised to see little things like labels on everything, bottles of water, snacks, bath products. There were a ton of dishes so I could cook for my family every night. My partner and I worked remotely and loved having high speed internet. In addition to the property itself, the neighbors were so friendly. I definitely will consider this house for my next trip to Decatur.
