Come to Silver Shores and enjoy the shared waterfront. Sit on your private deck and take in the views or head to the sandy beach area and take a swim in the clear waters of Silver Lake. With a spacious gazebo and a waterfront deck and dock there are plenty of options to relax and take in the lake views. There are canoes and kayaks that are available for use that are shared with all guests of the community.
This three bedroom, one bath home can accommodate six people and is a great option for a family and friends vacation. This sun filled home offers an eat in kitchen and is open to the living room. Sliding doors off the living room lead to a deck with table and chairs and an umbrella for some shade. There is also an additional deck with a gas grill for your outdoor cooking. Back inside you can stay connected with Wi-Fi and basic cable. There are three bedrooms offering different bed sizes and a full bath with a tub shower combination along with a stack washer and dryer. With the great waterfront you might not want to leave but there is plenty to see in Northern Michigan so plan to spend some time exploring the area! Come back home and bring your s'more fixings to the community fire pit and share your Michigan memories.

Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.
We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and/or dishwasher tabs if a dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Summary: This is a fantastic spot for summer vacation. The cottage is perfect for a family of 5 or 6, and is literally steps from a semi-private lawn, beach and gazebo. The lake is great for swimming and small boats, and kayaks come with the rental. Check-in/check-out was super easy as well. Highly recommended.

Summary: We had a wonderful week here in mid July. The property was comfortable for my family of 6 and the lake was beautiful. Ideal for swimming and boating. The beachfront was wonderful for kids. The kitchen was easy to use and the location was ideal, close to Traverse City but still far enough away to feel like a vacation. The property manager was easy to reach, and there were paddle boards and kayaks available for us to use. The cottage could have been a bit cleaner, especially under furniture, and the bathroom smelled a bit. There were some bulbs missing and the bathroom door didn't shut correctly, hitting the floor. The washer was mildewy. All issues were minor, however, and we would definitely return here again.

Summary: We had a great time at Silver Lake. The cabin was perfect for our needs: clean, simple, and comfortable. The beach area was wonderful, allowing our kids to play and enjoy themselves in this quiet section of Silver Lake. Location is close to town, and close to everything in northwest Michigan. Highly recommended.

Summary: Perfect size cabin with an excerpt location. My 4 year old loved the beach an water slide. I loved the community kayaks and fishing. Just a short drive to downtown Traverse City.

Summary: We loved the location and the little beach to play with our kids. The place is clean but needed a deep clean to clean ceiling fans, it was thick with dirt and cobwebs. There was half a roll of toilet paper and no extra trash bags. We went out and bought our own but just little things that could be improved upon. Overall we loved our stay and have discussed returning!

Summary: My mother and sisters joined me here for a short getaway. We drove in from the Flint area for a three night stay. The property, situated on Silver Lake, was quiet and comfortable; a pleasant place to return to following a day of driving around Traverse City and the Leelanau area. The property manager was easy to contact, and the house itself was well stocked with linens, appliances, and kitchenware. Overall, everything was clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to avoid the usual hotel experience. We brought all our own food, packed picnic lunches to take out to Mission Point and to Sleeping Bear, which were both within an hour’s drive, and returned for a home cooked dinner and a relaxing sunset over the water. I would advise bringing a Fire Stick or any similar video streaming device as there is WiFi available but no television service (If there was, I did not bother anyone to have it checked out as we were only there in the evenings, and the girls kept themselves entertained enough with their phones when they were not out swimming.). I would definitely consider returning again next year!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay I thought no a/c would be a problem but it wasn't the he cottage had everything you need and the evening's cooled down beautifully unfortunately the beach here is not for toddlers but there's many other beaches near by. We loved it wish we could stay longer.
