Prepare for a vacation both friends and family will enjoy! There is plenty of space for games, BBQ grilling, leisure time in the sun, sunrise meditation, and bonfire for s’mores. There are tons of options to enjoy the outdoors on the property and within walking distance. With boat access to the lake, a cute fishing spot and playground for the kids you’re sure to have a relaxing time. Granbury town is just 10 min. away with lots of shops, places to eat, culture and heritage. We also have another listing "Comfy Cottage #1” which is right next door to this one - if you and another want to plan a vacation or family reunion together.
Private Lake access:
We are not water front but the lake is very close; a 1 minute drive! Drive north on Comanche Cove Dr, next make a left on Bayshore, and then a right on water view. You will enter a parking lot and there you’ll see a boat ramp, a playground, and picnic tables. You will need to walk out to see the pier where you can feel free to fish or swim! There is a BBQ grill for public use on a first come first serve basis so feel free to use it! Please pick up after yourself, keep the area clean; there are trash bins you can use.
Basketball Court:
Shoot some hoops at a near by basketball court! Drive south on Comanche Cove Dr next make a right up Raintree Trail, and then make a left on scenic drive. The basketball court will be on your left!

Summary: I am writing an honest review of our entire stay, because I don’t want someone else’s family to go through what we recently encountered! We arrived at the cabin shortly after check-in, only to realize that the host did not send us access information. We were locked out with no way to get in, hours from home with two young children. I was not given an phone number on my confirmation so I emailed and tried to contact the host in every form of communication I knew how, but they were not responding. After waiting on the phone with a VRBO emergency line for an hour and a half, someone was able to get in contact with her and she gave us the information to get in. At this point, it was over FOUR HOURS after we’d arrived, it was dark and late and well past our kids bedtimes. When we got inside, the cabin was mostly clean and good for what we needed; only to find that the water had been shut off and there was no running water. Our kids were not able to bathe and we couldn’t even flush the toilets, so needless to say this was unsanitary situation. We had to go buy water to brush our teeth! The host was talking to me at this time, but the water company was not able to turn it back until the next day. Our friends met us there late that night, so there were three children under 4 years old in a house with no running water. It got turned on the next day around lunchtime. The host was available by phone for the most part during the rest of our stay and she was apologetic and tried to make it right. They also rent out the cabin next door, so we were able to go next door to bathe and shower since no one was renting it, however it was not cleaned since the last people had stayed there. Plus it was very inconvenient! My biggest complaint (besides no access/water at the beginning) was that they had a security camera mounted in the living room and it felt like a huge invasion of privacy having someone watch us while we were on vacation. I was not made aware of that when booking and would not have booked if I had known that. Overall, the cabin was mostly clean – there was some hair in the sheets and shower. We did run out of trash bags, paper towels and wash cloths. I agree with a previous review, there is no nightstands in the rooms or curtains over the windows. The washer and dryer was nice to have, but we didn’t need it while there. And the location was good, just a short drive to the lake/dock area where we spent quite a bit of time.

Summary: The property appears to be newly built or recently remodeled. Very clean inside and out. Very basic furnishings -- it could use some lamps and nightstands in the bedroom and living room. Lots of room in the main area of the house, futons in the living room allowing for the property to easily sleep 10. House is in an older neighborhood. Very nice park on the peninsula in the lake with a boat ramp, dock, picnic tables, and great shade. The kitchen has very basic cooking and eating utensils. There as no toaster in the kitchen. Overall, we were very comfortable during our stay and may rent again.

Summary: We had a great family weekend stay in Granbury. The location is about a minute drive or few minutes walk to the lake, in a clean, well-kept neighborhood with a private boat dock and picnic area. The house is spacious and very clean, with a full size kitchen. Many restaurants and the town square are located about 10 minutes away. The host responded quickly to questions via text. Would stay again.

Summary: This property is new, quiet and very clean. Everyone in my family sleep well. The neighborhood where the house is located appears to be transitioning from older lake properties to many new houses including this one. The property is about three blocks from the lake so was a one minute drive but longer to walk to the lake area where there is a park, swimming area and boat ramp.

Summary: The house was so cute and so clean. Plenty of open spaces for the family to relax and spread out. The owners were super responsive to anything we had questions on. They’ve have a great property here. Well equipped for most anything you could think of. We will definitely be back to this place anytime we are in this area. We would highly recommend any of their properties. Thanks for helping us have a great weekend at the lake!!!
