Summary: Overall, we were very unimpressed with our visit. We felt the listing online misled us. The listing included a hot tub, which in reality was not even filled with water. Even if it were, it was not in a condition I never would’ve felt comfortable getting into. The listing said the residence had wifi, and the owner informed us it may be “spotty”, but in reality there was no wifi, period. The property and all the communal “amenities” were terribly rundown and virtually unusable. The roads onto the property were treacherous for anyone not driving a truck or large SUV. The highlights of our stay included the bonfire pit and the porch swing.

Summary: Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot!

Summary: Cabin was clean and privacy was excellent. Only 2 negative comments. Bathroom needed some kind of shelf or top for personal items during the stay. The kitchen could have been stocked better with dish towels, silverware, storage containers. Also, the TV would not connect at all and.

Summary: We were looking for a quiet place to relax for a few days and this was perfect. Other reviews mentioned minor things and that's exactly what some were....minor. Cabin is in a heavily wooded area so we were not expecting a 5-start resort. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. WiFi is poor to non existent in much of the area but again, we knew that in advance and it was okay to be unplugged. Was easy to get around to all the places we wanted to explore during the day. My only complaint is that I wish I could have stayed longer.

Summary: We enjoyed our cabin experience as a family for our anniversary. It was nice and clean. Loved the screened in porch. We were reluctant to find the WiFi and the tv wasn’t working nor did we have cell service so that was the only thing to note.. We did use our downloaded movies on an iPad and hooked up an HDMI cable so we made the most of it with two kiddos. Was a good opportunity to unplug and enjoy the cozy cabin experience.

Summary: Pros: The land surrounding this cabin is beautiful and secluded. No cell service and very weak wifi, which is what we were looking for. It was a good size for our family of 4. The cabin itself is very old and really neat. Feels like a piece of history. The small kitchen is stocked with the very basics, missing a few items we needed such as can opener and wine opener. The host was quick to make sure we had access to those. Cons: This cabin is rustic, more rustic than we had anticipated. Narrow uphill gravel road to get to the cabin. We were excited about the playground nearby for our toddlers, but it is in pretty rough shape with nails sticking out and jagged edges on the slide top. Some parts of the cabin were damaged like the screen and lock on the door. The sheets in the bed my husband and I slept in appeared clean but then had visible dirt at the feet, maybe like someone slept in the clean bed with their shoes on? The cabin appeared clean otherwise, but this did make us question the cleanliness. The location is very remote- closest grocery store is about 30 minutes away, this was fine for us as we brought everything, but its very much out in nature, not close to civilization.
