Summary: To get new towels, you have to scan a QR code and provide your room number, after which you receive a confirmation. Apparently, this system doesn’t always work, even after receiving the confirmation, and the staff were not very helpful in resolving the issue. You were then expected to collect the towels yourself, even though it clearly wasn’t your fault. It also seems that remarks may be made, as nothing was asked at checkout about whether my stay was satisfactory. All in all, a rather unusual experience.

Summary: We had a nice stay but on the site it said bikes could be hired. We asked but the hotel didn’t have any which meant we had to rely on expensive taxis and the bus. Only on the last day did we realise Birkerod station had bolt bikes which would have been great to get about on as we decided not to hire a car .
