Welcome to “Treasured”, an elegantly appointed condominium directly on Windermere Island's world-famous pink sand beach. Windermere Beach is three miles long, 50 yards wide, pristine, and usually deserted. Treasured comes with membership in the Windermere Club, a two minute walk from the condo, with its heated pool, tennis, and gym, open year round. From November to May, the Windermere Club also opens its excellent restaurant and bar.
THE FALL CALENDAR IS CURRENTLY BLOCKED FOR A REMODEL, INCLUDING NEW KITCHEN AND BATHS.
This lovely condo features expansive beach and ocean views from the great room, the patio, and the master bedroom. The master, with en-suite full bath, is furnished with a king bed.
The guest bedroom, which also has an en-suite bath, has twin beds which can be converted to a king upon request.
The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave and dishwasher.
The ocean-view patio is furnished with lounge chairs and a propane fire pit.
Amenities include WIFI, AC throughout, Amazon Firestick, gas grill, beach towels and beach chairs on the beach.
There are 2 shared washers and dryers for the condo complex.
Windermere Island is an exclusive gated island connected to mainland Eleuthera by a short bridge. A short (5 minute) drive takes you to the village of Savannah Sound, which has an excellent grocery store, Midway Cost Cutters, and an excellent restaurant, Fishbone Bar and Grill. Another 20 minutes by car brings you the main town of Governors Harbour with many restaurants and stores.

All these draw us to treasured, in general property is fine. Bathrooms and kitchen really need an update to make this unit ideal. Kitchen is espececislly didconcerting. Kitchen appliances except for fridge are old, silver wear and dishes a jumble and midmatiched Had trouble with microwave and owner responded right away and apologized for inconnvenience. We came back in despite of kitchrns lack of appeal buy hoping Gor a change. When telling others about treasures 32 would also warn about dated baths and kitchen,

The location of the apartment is excellent- right on the main beach but easy access to West Beach. Eleuthera Vacation rentals was also excellent to work with. They are responsive and very helpful. We hope to stay on Windermere again, and plan on using Eleuthera Rentals. Thank you for an amazing vacation experience!

Summary: We absolutely loved the location right on the beach; and most mornings had it all to ourselves. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and there were plenty of linens. The clubhouse was a 5-minute walk away and we usually had the pool to ourselves as well. What would make this unit even better is to replace the artwork (as shown in the VRBO photos) that has been removed and to give the unit a deep clean - it's starting to show a little wear and tear. Overall, we loved the location and seclusion.

Reviewer Comments: The location of this condo is great with a world class beach at the doorstep which is practically deserted.The layout of the unit is great for a family or two couples. The kitchen is quite dated but well stocked but along with the bedrooms/bathrooms would benefit from a good scrub. We enjoyed our stay.

Reviewer Comments: The beach was fantastic (pristine and safe for ocean swimming) as was the view from the unit. We were pleased with the location and club membership. It was wonderful having the use of the Windermere Beach Club for dining. We used the beautiful pool once because the ocean was our priority. Merci Thompson, the housekeeper was helpful and did a wonderful job. The third day there was an issue with one of the toilets and she had a plumber there right away. We did not have to wait around, but left the key under the door mat. The living room, dining room and bedroom furniture was beachy style, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen could do with an recommend this unit to others I would let them know this. There were plenty of towels but no washcloths. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots, pans, and utensils but were a jumble in the drawers. Being a distance from restaurants, food stores, etc was the trade off for the quiet beach location. Only wish there was a breakfast place or bakery closer than Governors Harbor. We did go to town for the Friday fish fry and Tippis once each. Driving on the left at night was trying. We would have gone off island more often if not for that but having the Club restaurant was nice.
