Positive: Very spacious room. Washing machine functional and hangers provided. Only 2 parking lots allocated but we managed to use it throughout our stay.
Negative: Minor issue with check in at the self check in screen, but we could walk to the sister hotel to ask the staff for assistance

Positive: Roomy, but poorly designed.
Negative: On a road that is very noisy at night, so I had trouble sleeping. Access is by outside stairs only so be prepared to carry your luggage up. The kitchen facilities are minimal. Suitcases had to be opened on the floor - it would be nice to have some suitable bench space.

Positive: Our apartment was excellent in almost every respect. Everything you might want to see in Hakodate is a short walk (5 - 15 minutes) away. The apartment block is located on a busy city street; you can catch a tram or bus nearby, for any location in town you might want to visit. The accommodation is very spacious, looks newly decorated and furnished, and is very clean, with comfortable furniture, especially the beds. There was no housekeeping, but we were given enough towels for our entire stay. The kitchen equipment is adequate, if you are not an enthusiastic cook. Wifi was stable and fast; there was plenty of hot water. The washing machine was a bonus; we do not read Japanese, so using it required some effort. Once the clothes are washed, however, there is no drying rack on which to put the wet clothes. The upper floor is reached by stairs.
Negative: The building is not managed on site and there are no staff. The self check-in process was a nightmare. A QR code is given that should provide details. The link did not work for us, and the promised key access code never arrived, so we could not get our room key, it was late and very cold. Eventually someone came to help. Our room (201) faced the street; rooms further along the building might be more quiet. Many bright street lights shone into our upstairs apartment; the curtains did not block the light effectively, so the room was not dark at night. Simple instructions in English on how to use the appliances (stovetop, grill, microwave, washing machine, tv, and especially the room heater which was stifling - we had to open a window) would be very, very helpful. A fold-up drying rack is needed. There are only two free parking spaces, so arrive early and grab your spot. Having said all that, we loved the place and would stay here again.

Positive: Is very near to Mount Hakodate. We rent a car, there is a free parking. Dryer is located at the downstairs with sharing basic. Overall is just nice to stay. Big house. Clean and walking distance to supermarket and Daiso.
