Beautiful bright 3600 sq. ft custom home with Timber accents, overlooking Selkirk mountains. 4 Bedrooms (1 king, 2 Queens, 2 twins), 2.5 bathrooms, sleeps 8. Gourmet kitchen,well appointed, fireplace, private deck and patio allowing for sun or shade any time of day, cable TV, VCR, and WIFI. Family friendly. No smoking. NO pets. Perfectly located between Nelson and the Slocan Valley. Just a quick 10 minutes to Nelson. Hiking and walking trails less than 5 minutes away. Multiple beaches within a 10-15 minute drive, 25 minutes to WhiteWater Ski Resort and 35 minutes to Red Mountain in Rossland.

Summary: This property is magnificent. A beautiful home very tastefully decorated. Innovative features like in-floor heating and inductive stove provide comfort and enjoyment for guests. Extremely well equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is wonderful and has lots of storage. All beds are very comfortable and the home is exceptionally clean. We suggest that guests follow the host's directions carefully when arriving for the first time. The driveway is marked by only a small wood shingle with the house number. When we arrived in the evening, there were no lights on in the home. It was kind of tough using our phone flashlights to find our way around until we secured the key. But, only a minor setback to a great stay. For those of you that are skiers, the drive time to Red Mountain resort is around 1 hour depending on road conditions. The drive was plowed in a timely fashion. If our travels ever bring us back to this local, we will defiantly stay here again. Thanks!

Summary: We arrived and had the easiest checkin ever. The house is beautiful, located in a perfect spot not far from Nelson, BC. The indoor space was roomy. All 8 of us had plenty of space to relax in and hang out after long, awesome days of skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up delicious meals. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Whitewater ski resort was a quick drive away and offered light, lovely powder with great terrain. Red Mountain was a bit further of a drive, but worth it for the large amount of terrain it had to offer. The only thing that would make this spot even more perfect… a hot tub! All in all we had a fantastic trip. We will be back, hot tub or not!

Summary: It's a huge house with plenty of room for the 4 of us. It's set on a hill with magnificent views from both the house and wrap-around deck. The owner and manager were great to deal with and promptly addressed any concerns.

Summary: Great! House is bigger than it looks. Wonderful view of the valley. Close to Nelson and easy drive to other rec areas - we paddle boarded our hearts out. There are no pathways or walking areas around the house that we could see but that was fine for us - just a heads up for others. Also the bedrooms are incredibly hot, even with a fan, if you are there on hot days, which we were. Proper window coverings in the bedrooms would help - there are paper blinds in a few rooms. Despite the heat, it was fabulous overall and we would stay again. We were two families of 3 and it worked perfectly in terms of space. We couldn't figure out the shower when we first arrived (sorry 🤣🙄) and we were able to get hold of someone right away. Thank you!

Summary: Stunning cottage in tranquil setting with easy access by car to Nelson, as well as beaches and hikes in the area. The home had ample space, beautifully finished and amply stocked, with gorgeous views of the mountains and forests. We stayed with our 3 young adult children and they loved having their own bedrooms while still having lots of family time in the common areas and on the patio. Christine was a lovely host, responded quickly to our questions. Best VRBO experience ever!!

Summary: Awesome location tucked away from everything. Very quiet and secluded one way drive with very scenic views. Would recommend for families with kids or anyone who wants to have a nice relaxing stay!

Summary: Our party included a group of four adult guys visiting the area to ski Red Mountain and Whitewater. We wanted to stay close to Nelson as well and this house was centrally located between the two resorts and only 15 minutes from Baker Street. Pros: house was very nice and clean, great stargazing at night, close to restaurants, 1hour to red mountain, 30 minutes to whitewater Only item we weren’t sure of was that we did stay up until midnight or later a few nights playing guitar or watching tv and were unsure if we met the quiet time rules after 10 PM (hope so!)
