Summary: Property was as described. Everything was adequate for our minimal needs, as we just slept there and spent most of our time with family at their home.

Summary: Nice and quiet neighborhood convenient to many attractions. Nice private space upstairs with separate bathroom! Needs privacy shade for upstairs window—neighbors can see in from backyard (blinds would not go all the way down because window a/c).

Summary: The location is about 10 minutes away from Jeffersontown, which is where my husband needed to be. The neighborhood is safe, but the house is surrounded by neighbors. My children enjoyed the home. We homeschooled during our stay in the dining area. It suited our needs. The children found the beds upstairs to be too firm for their liking and switched to the bunk beds on the main floor. The heat and a/c is noisy, and some of the flooring creaked when walked on. The hosts were polite but not as accommodating as I have experienced in the past. The property was suppose to have an iron and ironing board. It did not, and the host did not bring me one. Whatever needs I had I was told that I could get them at the store not too far away. The property had been cleaned, but a thorough cleaning needed to have been done. I did find some build ups of dust in some areas where things have not been moved around to clean. The basement had not been swept up all the way. The basement is also fairly dark. I saw some lighting fixtures, but couldn’t find a way to turn them on. I’m short and could only reach one light bulb to turn on. My husband can reach others, but we couldn’t find a way to turn on some of the bigger lights. Some instructions for how to turn them on would be helpful. Overall, the property suited us fine.

Summary: Overall the house was great for our family. It was a charming home and a great location. Being an older home the floor did creak. The driveway and sidewalk were covered with leaves which made it difficult to see the edges. A nice neighbor blew the leaves off the sidewalk and driveway towards the end of our stay. The owners were very prompt in answering any questions we had.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Cute house in quiet neighborhood. My only issue was the sheets on the upstairs queen bed. The sheets were old and may have been flannel a lot of pilling on them. Other beds had nice comfortable sheets.

Summary: We were in town for my daughter's wedding. Had 6 adults staying at the house and it worked great. Location was nice and quiet and even saw a few deer in the neighborhood.

Summary: This was a bucket list Kentucky derby trip for 6 horse girls. The house was in a perfect location and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for the 6 of us. The neighborhood was quiet and it was less than 20 minutes to Churchill downs. The house contained all the amenities we needed and if we were to do this trip again, we would go back to this house.
