Positive: It had a wonderful south facing deck overlooking the lake. Beautifully and comfortably furnished with everything you might need and more. It’s on the edge of the estate so pretty quiet too.
Negative: Nothing. Being by water there are some midges and damsel flies but they didn’t bite or even bother us much.

Positive: Coot cottage is one of my favourite places to stay. It is spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds are super comfy. The view of the lake is stunning. We were there during the off peak season and it was lovely and quiet, which suited us perfectly. I came with my dog and he really enjoyed walking around the lakes. Annabel was so helpful and we really appreciated her offer of early check-in and check-out. Which sadly we were unable to accept due to timings. We will definitely be back again.
