Summary: 3 Generations shared a really special time on this beautiful lake in this really great house. Everything you needed was provided and JC was very responsive when a problem arose. Hopefully, we will be back again in the future.

Summary: This was the perfect quarantine getaway for 2020. The house is beautiful & very well maintained. The owner was so kind and easy to communicate with. The lake community was kind and the environment was relaxing and beautiful. I wish I had booked a boat rental sooner but besides that we enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, rock painting, the hot tub and ping pong! Would highly recommend this house and this location to any couple or family looking for a beautiful relaxing getaway.

Summary: My family just returned from one of the best vacations he have ever experienced. Juan's home was state of art , top quality accommodations. We spent a gorgeous week swimming, boating, waterskiing, fishing from the dock and kayaking. The dock was fantastic. It was strong and plenty. The deck was also fantastic with plenty of seating. Juan was excellent to work with and provided all the necessary details. I highly recommend this property. We traveled to the Saratoga County fair (about 1 hour north) and Casino. Had a real nice day. Most of our time was spent at the lake in the water and relaxing

Summary: Celebrated my mother's 70th this summer by serving up three generations in one house for one week. There was something for everyone - actually, we did not even get to all the stuff we wanted to do. The house was immediately comfortable, while having all the amenities necessary to have a great vacation. The kayaks were used multiple times a day, as was the hot tub. The lakefront offered us endless hours of fishing. My 8-year old caught her first fish (and then some 10 more!) over the course of our week's stay. My husband & I ran each day along the lake and the sights of deer, beaver, bunnies and more were so fun. We went cherry picking at a nearby farm. We ventured off to the Catamount Adventure Park - a zip-line galaxy of fun. We climbed Bash Bish Falls - yes, even our matriarch made the excursion! And the very best was the view each and every day - rain or shine - of the lake itself. Each of us stole quiet moments in the early morning to watch the sunrise and later that day would return for a festive gathering around the campfire. The rainbow that decorated the skies on our final night completed the entire experience. We would love to make the Copake Lake House an annual trek...fingers crossed we will be able to!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at the house on Copake Lake! There was more than enough room for us, our 3 adult children and their spouses. Often pictures and descriptions of a property may be a bit deceiving; if anything the pictures on this site did not do justice to the space. All 4 couples had private bedrooms and there was ample space to have an 8 person euchre tournament in the living space. Our family enjoys cooking and the kitchen was adequately equipped and set up to allow for multiple folks to work simultaneously. The weather during our weekend was outstanding. Surprisingly we had no rain at all. This allowed plenty of time for morning kayak paddles on the lake, fishing expeditions in the canoe, walking for an ice cream cone up past the golf course, playing a round of golf and a few sets of tennis. More than anything, we all found an opportunity to relax on the deck chairs reading, taking a soothing soak in the hot tub or floating out on the water. Finally, JC was attentive to our needs and communicated regularly with us before and during our stay. All in all, this was a wonderful week.

Summary: The Copake Lake house was one of the best family vacation rental houses we have experienced. It was perfect for our needs: comfortable, well designed and with more than enough room for the 5 adults and 3 small children in our family. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. There were plenty of bath and beach towels. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The house is well-stocked with games and videos for all ages and sports equipment (kayaks, canoes, bicycles and an unadvertised recently acquired trampoline). To top it all off, the house is ideally situated on the lake shore, with a beautiful view of both the lake and the surrounding mountains, and easy access to the lake for swimming and boating. In addition, the house is located on a dead-end country road with no through traffic, so it is very quiet. Frankly, it was hard to get back to work after spending a wonderful week there. We also want to note that the owner was especially attentive to our needs. He graciously responded to our many questions during the rental process and in the weeks leading up to our arrival. He phoned us on the day of our arrival to check that we had found everything in order. Everyone in our party had a delightful week. While it's a little early for us to be planning our 2014 family vacation, we've already been talking about coming back again next summer. This review reflects the views, input or concurrence of everyone in our party.

Summary: This was our second time back to the house and we had another wonderful time!!. There were some upgrades to the house since our last visit that we appreciated (new kitchen appliances, new BBQ grill, in ground fire pit, and a new deck next to the lake). The house has a great view of the lake and mountains. With private lake front access, we loved swimming and kayaking at our leisure. The house, hot tub and decks are very comfortable and relaxing. Very much welcomed coming back and would highly recommend!
