Negative: Bit of a musty smell (bought some air fresheners to put throughout the house). Shower was a bit slippery for the elderly and no shelf to put shampoo etc on.

Positive: Well fitted out cottage with the comforts of home. Plenty of books, games etc. The rockyroad was a lovely touch.
Negative: No shelving in the shower to hold shampoo, soap etc. You had to put them on the shower base, which was very unusual. The TV was too high for the positioning of the couch, which made it hard on the neck to watch.

Positive: Location had its positive but also negative. It’s located on a secondary road so there is road noise. It’s also located right next to the rail path which makes access to town easy but also means people are constantly walking past. Also mean there is a lot of direct light all night from the pathway. The cottage has everything you need except a dryer there is a washing machine.
Negative: Traffic noise and people walking past an all hours. That it is animal friendly ( I would not have booked if I knew this). The cottage was clean and didn’t smell of pets but there was pet hair in clumps outside. I kept windows open. Highly allergic to some dogs and all cats.
Summary: Easy walk to town and directly on rail pathway.
