Summary: We really enjoyed the cabin. It had a fire pit and plenty of room for us to gather indoors or out. The layout worked great for 8. Keep in mind there is a train nearby if you are a light sleeper, which didn't bother us because we are not. There were good instructions for everything (check-in, out, location of items) and the cabin was well stocked.

Summary: The house was very cute on the inside and had a nice little patio and loved having the fire pit. But communication with the host was not good. I texted 3 times, 3 days before our trip date and never gonna response. The day we left I texted again to let the host know about the grill top melting/peeling and some of the bedroom doors not shutting and finally got a response on that. There’s also a large train that runs directly behind the house which was supper loud. It would come every few hours. The smoker detector is also extremely sensitive, as in we turned the oven on and it started going off. But other than those hiccups the house was a good stay.

Summary: This is a super cute and updated little cottage near Alberta Creek Marina. Easy 10 minute drive to Kingston. Very clean, well-stocked, and updated interior. It should be noted that this house is not for people who have difficulty getting around—the floor is multi-leveled and the beds are very high off the ground. The ceilings and showers are also a very low, making it hard for people over 6 feet tall. This home is located by train tracks and freight trains do come by 2-5 per night blaring their horns. The outdoor porch area is perfect for game night as a family, and the fire pit is the perfect cozy touch. Overall would recommend this stay for a Texoma getaway!

Summary: Conveniently located close to marinas and the lake. We chose it for that reason for a fishing tournament. Slept 4 comfortably. 4th room has a nice futon, there is room for a full bed which would be a little more ideal for tournament fisherman. Our only real issue was proximity to the train tracks. About 75 yards behind the house. I'd definitely consider that if you are needing to get up early and are a light sleeper. Train cane through 2-5 times per night during our stay Wed through Sun.
