Positive: The location near the airport is perfect. The pool was so lovely and it’s such a great place to relax- you could easily spend a few days here, mainly because of the host’s amazing hospitality. We were greeted by Levan and his lovely family who went out of their way to help us, feed us and water us! They are a very special family and this is a great place to both start and end your travels in Georgia- honestly could not recommend more highly.
Negative: We had a tricky arrival process where we couldn’t find the property, we found that we couldn’t pay by card even though the information we received said card payments only and we found that food wasn’t available that night. However, the family pulled out all the stops and turned all the negatives into a positive through their incredible hospitality, even going to great lengths to bake us a cake and make us a salad, bread and dumplings dinner. I would just make sure to establish contact with them in advance to be clear on the location (google maps only takes you close), how to pay and how much airport transfers cost, if needed.
Summary: Fantastic, best experience in Georgia

Positive: It’s away from the city noise and traffic in a remote area just 10mins from city centre. A slight challenge to find you need to take a left up the hill to go round the back of the houses, but once there it’s a hidden gem of a family oasis with the loveliest and friendliest of people.
Negative: Nothing.
Summary: I arrived late at night only to be invited into a family birthday party for one of the kids. The men took me into their

Positive: I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for its great value for money. It is very close to the airport, which makes it perfect for a first or last night in Georgia. The biggest highlight for me was the kindness and flexibility of the host. Despite my very late arrival in the middle of the night, I was warmly welcomed and even offered a home-cooked meal. The host also offered to stay in touch in case I needed anything, which I really appreciated. The place itself is simple and not particularly special — it’s in the middle of nowhere — but being close to the airport is exactly what mattered to me. The room was clean, and even the towels smelled fresh, which was a nice touch 🙂
Negative: The only small thing that could be improved, in my opinion, would be clearer pricing for the transfer service.
Summary: Super kind host
