Positive: We’ve been travelling for two weeks and this was our best hotel yet. We chose it for its position, about 20 minutes walk from the main station and an easy 10 minute walk into the old town centre. The hotel was clean, modern and professionally run, with helpful staff and an excellent buffet breakfast included in our good value weekend room rate. Our quiet courtyard facing standard room was comfortable, good WiFi, and bathroom with bath and plenty of hot water. Recommended.

Positive: What I liked: -The world class breakfast. Everything the eye can imagine. Really, really awesome presentation and flavors of the wide variety of food. -The restaurant staff, very kind, professional, most speak English. The only drawback was a second entry, which made the restaurant a thoroughfare. -Dinner: tried the Corso Burger, asked the waiter for rare, bloody for the meat. The soul of my shoe was more tender than what I got. Also…I asked my waiter who is the man I’ve seen walking around, giving quietly instructions to the staff. I was told he is the owner of the hotel, precisely the son of the owner. This guy passed my table several times, but not once stopped and asked me how’s my stay, is there anything he could do if something wasn’t right.

Negative: What didn’t like: -Room: Booked for a double bed, got two single bed with a nightstand in between. -Bathroom: very awkward layout, no walk-in shower, had to climb over the three-foot bathtub to get in. -Furniture: kind of old, outdated looking. -Noise: through the locked door, supposed to open to the next room, could hear the guest yelling on the phone. -Pet friendly: the only positive, but ain’t cheep, paying daily.

Summary: I’d return for the breakfast, but only for that.
