Positive: The wine was great, the view was stunning and very friendly staff.

Negative: The building is a little old and creaky so you hear everyone else moving around it when you’re in bed, so you need to hope for quiet neighbours. Also, no fridge.

Positive: Fabulous location and setting, beautiful surroundings and scenery. Charming room, fantastic dining area for breakfast & evening meal. Food was very good and the organic wine produced at the property was superb and affordable (recommend the sparkling white). Helpful friendly staff and a swim in the Bio pool a great end to a 2 day stay. A peaceful & tranquil place, the only noise was from the wildlife with the frogs in the bio pool croaking us to sleep! Nearby town of Bazzano charming with a few cafes/ restaurants / shops (not touristy at all). Excellent value for money.

Negative: Nothing really, you do need your own transport as location is fairly remote but only a few minutes drive from local town.

Summary: We stayed in 5 hotels during our 10 day touring holiday of northern Italy and this was easily the best hotel of our trip

Positive: We loved our one night stay at Corte d‘Aibo! The staff was just wonderful making us feel right at home. Situated in the beautiful garden, we had a delicious dinner at sundown. If you are in Bologna or surroundings, we’d highly recommend staying here (even if it’s just for a night / lunch or dinner).

Positive: The countryside is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast had an excellent array of foods and was delicious. We also had a great dinner. The restaurant server was attentive - she even remembered hot water for my husband the second morning. Margherita from the desk was very helpful, and they lent us an umbrella for a rainy day.

Negative: We booked it specifically because it had a restaurant, however were informed upon arrival (after a long travel day) that the restaurant was closed that day. The staff member said she would give us a list of restaurants in the area for dinner that night, and then never brought it back to the room. It would have been helpful to know about this in the initial message from the property. The light over the closet area has a timer that lasts about 4 seconds so it turns off and on constantly when you move about the room and turns off before you can find anything in your suitcase. Frustrating. In general it felt a little like glamping versus staying at a winery. Clean, but the rooms are very simple and not as comfortable as expected for the price.

Summary: Less comfortable than expected. Restaurant and grounds are excellent.
