Positive: I just stayed here with my partner and we loved Corte Pozzol. The room was clean and exactly how it was shown on pictures. Very close to lake Garda and also close to Verona but away from all the chaos and noise which we liked. The host was lovely and she has two of the cutest dogs, me and my partner love bulldogs and she has one called Benny. The place was magic and we’ll definitely go back if we visit the area again!

Negative: Not a dislike per se, but you need transport to get to and from places, but it’s only a 10 minute drive to the lake and close to the motorway to get to Verona, so just know you’ll need transport to get around.

Positive: Corte Pozzol is a phenomenal 16th century Italian Villa!!! The property is exceptionally located between romantic Verona and the stunning Lake Garda, and located in picturesque Rivoli. The host Sally was incredibly attentive, welcoming, kind, and vibrant! Sally made us (me and my partner) feel at home from the very first moment. We stayed in a beautifully curated room, decorated with wonderful classic Italian furniture and lots of light. The views from the room are also beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and we would always sit at the breakfast tables under the gigantic magnolia tree in Corte Pozzol’s inner garden. From there, you’re able to admire the villa’s garden wall, which Sally told us dated back to the 1600s! Sally also helped us organise our trips during the day and recommended some high quality, hidden gems and spots around Verona and Lake Garda, which we absolutely loved. Overall, Corte Pozzol was a 10/10 experience for me and my partner. We’d highly recommend staying here and we will certainly be back. Thank you Sally and thank you Corte Pozzol for the incredible stay.

Positive: Anyone looking for 'the real Italy' will find it in this beautiful Palazzo, where original features have not been compromised in favour of restoration and the facilities fully meet modern expectations. Sally's family are warm and welcoming and keen to share local tips and recommendations. Having breakfast in the room is a nice touch, so you're not bound by property timings and are free to eat in the room or in their lovely, peaceful garden.

Positive: The host, the room decoration, and the accommodation, and the arts inside the accommodation were amazing! Wish we could stay a bit longer…

Negative: It’s more a recommendation for having a small shower gel and a rubbish bin in the bathroom, a note to leave the city tax would make the stay perfect 100%.

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is perfect — right in the middle of Lake Garda and Verona. The host, Sally, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even better. The room itself was beautiful and comfortable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Negative: The rooms are located on the second floor, and there’s no lift, so carrying heavy luggage can be a bit of a challenge.

Positive: Sally was a great host! We received a warm welcome and we had some lovely chats with her. She was very helpful and offered us help whenever we needed something. The room was amazing. It was very spacious and clean with a very cute balcony and a hot tub in the bathroom. It is a 500 years old building and because of this, the room (and the rest of the house) has a lot of character. We love this kind of architecture. It has an amazing garden where you can have your breakfast. The location is great: close to Lake Garda, but away from the busy and touristic areas.

Negative: Since the breakfast is stored in the frigde in your room every night, you don't have fresh bread in the morning.

Positive: Beautiful room, bed was comfortable and it felt peaceful and luxurious. Breakfast room was particularly lovely, with generous buffet and lots of sunlight. Sally had lots of great suggestions for places to visit and eat out, would definitely recommend the Santuario Madonna della Corona. All around excellence!

Positive: We are so happy with our stay at this beautiful B&B. We came by car and had good distance to everything we wanted to do(wine tasting, swimming in Garda lake etc). Our room was absolutely fantastic and eating breakfast out in the garden was so nice. Sally was so helpful and lovely. We will definitely come back!!
