Positive: Beautiful surroundings and views, nice restaurant, friendly staff, quiet and private, pleasant 10 minute walk to the center of town. There’s a social vibe with yoga and other activities.
Negative: My room had wooden floors with spaces between the panels that allowed many bugs to get in even if I kept the windows closed. Occasionally I heard dogs barking in the area at night, maybe across the river but it’s close enough.

Positive: The hostel sits right at the river bank and is a great lovely space. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome. Very beautiful location. I would stay here again. I would suggest staying here to anyone visiting the area. They provided yoga classes and salsa classes which went great. The security cameras also worked at the property which helps me feel safe. Great for the price as well.

Positive: Picturesque setting with pool. Nice restaurant/bar area. Staff were friendly. Good air conditioning and hot shower.
Negative: - Room was a real letdown for us. We paid more for the Mountain View room and it was a disappointment. It needed cleaning more and redecorating. There were marks all up the walls and mirror, some were squashed bugs. There was a cigarette end on the balcony. The chair inside was just one of the plastic outdoor ones. The curtains needed replacing they were all stuck together with something. Also the floor inside is decking so it is completely open to the outside, consequently we had ants and swarms of bugs in the evening getting in because of the lights. We never had windows open or the doors so it must have been for this reason. We had no mosquito net either. The morning we were leaving they were doing welding right next to our balcony which to be honest is quite dangerous so we couldn’t use it on the last day, because we needed to avoid being blinded. - They charged 10% when we arrived to pay on card for the room, which is not mentioned anywhere. But then when we settled our bill at the end there was no mention of the 10% again. - The pool was dirty, there was scum floating in the corners. - Breakfast they only served coffee no tea and the amount of fruit given was a bit pathetic. Personally it was not worth the money for us

Positive: We loved everything; great vibe, great facilities, great food and great staff. We did a salsa class, sat by the fire and had marshmallows, played all the games and chilled. This place really made our Minca stay special and the staff are lovely. We also loved our outdoor shower.
Negative: Mosquitos, but it's the jungle after all.
