Summary: Als je een 'thuisgevoel' wilt krijgen op vakantie is deze vakantiewoning uitermate geschikt! De accommodatie is enigszins bedompt en ouderwets ingericht, maar dat zorgt wel voor een bepaalde sfeer. Typisch duits, huiselijk. Er is aan van alles gedacht er staat afwasmiddel, koffie, keukenrol, rollen toiletpapier, kruiden, vaatdoekjes en nog meer praktische spullen. Zelfs aan nederlandse lectuur is gedacht. Onze hond was ook van harte welkom (ze hebben zelf ook een hond). Gastvrije ontvangst Steffie is een duitse, Adriaan een nederlander. Zij zullen er alles aan doen om je een fijn verblijf te bezorgen. Er bevinden zich 3 vakantiewoningen bij de bistro, waarvan 2 op de 1e verdieping. Het eten is er heerlijk en goedkoop! De bistro is eenvoudig ingericht en wordt ook door bewoners uit het dorpje bezocht. Op vrijdagavond is het altijd druk aan de bar -). In het dorp is er verder niets te doen. Er zijn geen winkels, alleen een kerkje. Leuke uitstapjes in de omgeving zijn onder andere de verschillende vulkaanmeren, Bernkastel-Kuez, Cochem en maak zeker een wandeling door het bos op de berg van Gerolstein (met grote vulkaankrater). Een prachtige natuur!
