Located 1000 meters above sea level in a pretty little hamlet "Nant-Cruy" a few steps from a farm to buy milk.
A splendid environment with views of the mountains from all sides.
We are located 4 km by car from the Cordon ski area, 6 km from the Combloux ski area and 15 minutes from the Princess gondolas which lead to the Megève ski area.
The chalet is 800 meters by car from the village center of Cordon where you will find a bakery, mini-market, tobacco shop, bars, restaurants, bank, tourist office ...

Summary: We loved staying here a full week. The house is spacious and warm. Close to the ski area Evasion Mont Blanc, 15 minutes drive to skilift La Princesse. And also beautiful area to walk. We love to come back again.

Summary: We spend time there in January 2023 with the family (2 kids and grandparents) and our dog. It was our first winter holiday in France, before we always went to Austria and we have to say we are now big fans of skiing in France. We had a great time. House: The house felt like a home which was really nice. Cosy and everything there what you might need. Also those things you did not know you needed. 😉 The huge oven was great for family pizza dinner! The beds are good, even the pillows. Morganne advised to bring our own for more comfort, as others had issues with them. We found them ok. 😊 The grandmothers enjoyed the walks around the house and to Cordon very much. There are nice trails close to the house, so they did not need the car. The house is near the village Cordon, even though the address says Sallanches. It is a very quiet area (which we really loved), but not much of a night life. Skiing: For us we drove to Contamines for skiing, which was good distance wise but also the only area with enough snow. Mount Joly was great and (compared to our experiences in Austria) accommodating to all levels. As we had a time with very little snow everywhere, we were astonished that the skiing conditions were still so good here. The other option would have been Chamonix which is a little bit further away and according to the staff of the rental shop has more stones/stony areas on the slopes. All in all, we were envied by our friends who were in Austria at the same time. More tourists for France next year? We will be back for sure. 😊 Communication: Thank you Morganne! We had concern beforehand as I have only little knowledge of French. But it worked extremely well. Translator apps helped and Morganne answered very quickly and was always available.
