2 Bedroom Cottage in Mountain Home

Looking for something off the beaten path? Sitting lakeside on Bull Shoals Lake is our small resort with six cottages, in-ground pool (seasonal) with a view of the lake and a free slip in our six stall boat dock included in your cottage rental. All cottages have queen beds, fresh linens, towels, WIFI, flat screen TV's with satellite and Roku. Fully equipped kitchen also. So pack the kids, dog, food and boat and come and unplug, unwind or windup. Come as guest and leave as family!
This cottage is a nice 2 bedroom with a great view of the lake.
Located at at the end of a point our resort is a quite retreat. No traffic just an occasional boat going by. Watch the hawks flying overhead as well as many other varieties of birds. An occasional deer or turkey just may end up in front of you. Relaxing in the pool or sunbathing next to it while viewing the lake. Take a walk to the dock and just sit there and relax or just jump right in the water is clear and clean.
Please keep in mind you are in the great outdoors. Along with the beauty come creepy crawly things like chiggers, ticks, snakes, wasps and flies. Bringing some bug spray along helps as well as keeping doors closed at all times. You may see some deer, turkey's, armadillos, since we are in the woods a bear or coyote and other predictors may be near so use caution.
The Dock!
Included in your rental is a slip in our 6 stall dock. The stalls measure 10x20. There is electric to plug in your toys, a ladder to help you back up if you choose to jump in. Please note the following.
The army core of engineers controls our lake level. At time you can drive the 250 yards from the resort and park and walk right onto the dock. If the levels are high you will need to hike down the trail. Both ways are walkable but are steep and a rocky incline. So use caution. At times of high water an alternative boat launch will be needed.There is no sandy beach it is a rocky area. You will find boating and fishing rules in each cottage and agree to follow all rules.
We have 2 game cameras on the dock!!! There is NO lifeguard at either the dock or pool you agree to use at your own risk. Owners are not liable or stolen or damaged properly.

Summary: This is a really fun place to stay. The area is beautiful and has great access to Bull Shoals Lake. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. Charlie and Patti are wonderful hosts and made sure our stay was enjoyable. I would certainly recommend this place to friends and family and will return when travels bring us back to this area.

Summary: For such a short stay, we really enjoyed our time! The location overlooking the river was very peaceful, and we could have stayed on the front porch all day. The cabin had everything we needed. The hosts were very engaging, and we enjoyed learning more about the property and visiting the boat ramp.

Summary: We loved our trip. We found this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The scenery is beautiful. We did some fishing and went into "town" to antique shop. We found a nice park to walk the dogs, the loved the new morning smells at the cabin too. Everyone was so relaxed. Patty and Charlie are nice and very helpful. They have thought of everything you could need to use. The decor is very cute. We will be back.

Summary: We really liked the accommodations and our hosts, Patty and Charlie, were great. The only issue was that it was not an easy access to put in our kayaks. But since this was not our primary reason for being there, it was really good.

Summary: Patti and Charlie greeted us when we pulled in. Exceptionally friendly. Told us to get settled in and Charlie would show us where to unload our boat. Having a boat slip was a big plus for us. The cottage was immaculate. Every kitchen gadget you need was there. Be sure to bring your food with you as it is a bit of a drive back to shop. Satellite TV and wifi.. There is a laundry building which also houses an ice cooler.. I didn't use the pool but it is very well kept and beautifully lit at night. This resort is remote but the roads are good. I will definitely come back again! Thank you Patti and Charlie for a fantastic weekend
