Following up to let you know that we greatly enjoyed your family's Crooker Rd. cottage. Thanks for the kayaks & bikes...they were well used. My son-in-law did dig clams & we sampled fresh steamers. My 8 year old grandson not only swam to the flamingo float, but also swam at Reid State Park & at Wolf's Neck State Park...he got his money's worth. We picked blueberries... used the fire pit nightly & enjoyed the baggo game & horseshoes. Thanks for your hospitality.

Summary: The place was advertised. Right on the water with stunning views all around. Larry is a great host and was very attentive. Great nights sitting around the fire pit and having lobsters delivered to the dock was an added feature.

Summary: The property is so beautiful. You wake in the morning to the smell of pine and seashore. With the tides the river brings jumping fish and we even saw a seal. Kayaking was fun and peaceful. We picked blueberries on the grounds and ate outside everyday. The firepit is outstanding. We ate fresh lobster , hiked and went puffin cruise out of Boothbay Harbor. All in all a great vacation.

Summary: What a lovely cottage and so wonderfully situated! The house is set apart and right on the river facing northward so you enjoy an obstructed view of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed having morning coffee on the wrap-around porch or on the chairs overlooking the water, watching ospreys and even a bald eagle or two on a morning fishing expedition. The rooms are generously sized and airy, the property is wonderfully equipped with games, bikes. and we thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks! Watching the stars at night on the dock or around a campfire (great fire ring!) was a highlight! The house is secluded yet very conveniently located to route 1 and grocery stores, and access to many day trips (Boothbay, Bath, Freeport, Camden). We had a wonderful time, and can't thank you enough for sharing your wonderful cottage with our family, Larry! Thank you!!

Summary: The property and location were more than we had hoped for. The entire family had so much fun using the kayaks and just sitting on the wrap around porch overlooking the water and watching the lobster boats pull their traps!

Summary: Larry's place was wonderful for my group of six. We loved waking up to the view of the ocean every morning and watching the tide wash in and out throughout the day. The privacy that the property provided is incredible. We used the kayaks, dug for clams, and even hailed a lobster boat from right off the dock and got fresh lobster to make for dinner! The house is very spacious, enough so that most of us worked during the week but still found it easy to take calls. We built fires at night and explored the nearby towns. We will definitely book this property again in the future!

Summary: We had a relaxing and totally enjoyable 1+week stay in this secluded house that is situated on a point along the Sheepscot river. Beautiful water views all around the front wrap-around deck, lawn, fire pit, and from two of the bedrooms. We enjoyed kayaking, walking to the nearby jetty (1 mi), lots of relaxing on the porch, grounds, and fire pit at night. Larry is a gracious host who provided kayaks, bikes, and stocked the house with many helpful items. Highly recommended!
