Bring your skis, snowboards, and snowshoes (or rent some), and enjoy the freshly fallen powder up close. In summer, you can borrow the canoe or the kayaks from the boathouse and take them over to Lake Pauline.

Summary: The house is super nice and cozy, but there was a lot of mud in the parking lot, making things quite difficult to pack and unpack the car. The WiFi signal was good, but super low speed. Other than these two things, we loved the place and would recommend it, specially because it is very close to Okemo Ski resort.

Summary: I liked that they were one phone call away. Although, did not appreciate the fact we could not enter right away. I injured my knee a week before vacation and found the stairs hard to manage because they were so steep. There is a railing but these stairs are dangerous. Would not recommend for little ones or elderly. We like Ludlow and area is perfect for visiting southern Vermont. Vacasa charges extra, this guaranteed cleanliness. We found stains on the rug that could have been shampooed out and thick dust on ceiling and bath exhaust fan; Clean otherwise. I was disappointed with this as I have pulmonary fibrosis. This is a commonly found problem everywhere.

Summary: Nice comfy cottage near the water. My son is an avid fisherman and loved being able to do some fishing. I couldn’t believe how many things were in the house to make it an easy stay. - pots and pans, towels, coffee maker, along with a bunch of spices.

Summary: I had a great time there. Quite and peaceful place with a beautiful water front where we use the kayaks a lot. Also enjoyed going for walk down the street where the woods are full, green and has great energy.

Summary: This cabin is about 5 minutes drive from the Gore base of Okemo Ski resort. This base is less crowded than the clocktower base. The Gore base also has an ice skating ring and pool, which we enjoyed. Make sure to visit the Crowley Cheese factory, which is the oldest in continuous operation cheese factor in the United States, and possibly the world. The cabin is located on a gravel road that does NOT require 4x4. I enjoyed jogging on this gravel road. The lake is nearby and the kids enjoyed walking on the ice (with my supervision). The kitchen was well stocked. The upper bedrooms were perfect for a family with 2 kids. The only issue was the lock pad did not work because the power to it had gone off. We were able to enter the home by calling the emergency maintenance line and they gave us an access code to a physical key. We used the outdoor gas grill - it worked well. There is a shed where skis can be stored. The cabin was warm. We would definitely stay again and recommend this cabin to friends.

Summary: I’m not sure they mention that you can see Okemo from the back door and driveway! It snowed while we were there and they plowed the driveway twice, and at 0 degrees the house was cozy. 8 min drive to Okemo and we had first lift on our first morning there.
