Positive: Perfect half way stop on the way to South Wales. Nice and quiet but within short driving distance for day visits to Tewkesbury and Gloucester. Cottage was ideal for a couple and very clean with all the usual facilities. Some provisions provided which was a nice touch. Will definitely come again.
Negative: Cottage belongs to local pub The Butchers Arms which unfortunately is closed part of the week and only open with restricted times. Although these are all listed on their Web site.

Positive: It was absolutely perfect! The personal touches were so thoughtful and cosy by the lovely owner! She was so accommodating and rushed to get cottage ready for check in to be able to attend a wedding in time (but through a post code error we couldn’t even maximise it). It was so comfortable, everything that we needed and in perfect location for a wedding at Pauntley Court. Jo-Anne was so wonderful - and was grateful to meet her in the morning to share thanks, as well as the lovely staff in the pub a stone’s throw away! Wish we could have stayed for longer and will most definitely be coming back

Positive: jo was a wonderful host , the cottage was delightful and the little welcome treats were lovely the bed is incredibly comfortable and everything is of a very good standard the garden was lovely and a great space to sit and if you have a dog it is all enclosed I wish we could have stayed longer.

Positive: The host had left lots of lovely thoughtful additions to the stay , it was so lovely and welcoming,it was a lovely clean and cosy cottage. Not only did the stay exceed our expectations but on our departure or car battery had died and the owners helped us recharge it and get us on our way They were both so warm and helpful

Positive: Our host, Jo, came to meet us as we arrived at the property, to hand over the keys and give some information about the cottage. 'Half-Pint Cottage' is lovely, very welcoming and cosy. Fabulous additional extras were the delicious homemade blood orange marmalade and soda bread. Bottled water, tea, coffee, sugar, orange juice and organic milk were also kindly provided.
Negative: The breakfast bar was a little squished on leg-room to sit at on the side of the living area and the main door to the property could benefit from improved privacy screening. These are both very much a non-issue!
Summary: A very enjoyable stay at Half Pint Cottage!

Positive: Well maintained, homely and has everything you would need for a short stay. Fresh local milk, orange juice and the host also added freshly baked soda bread and homemade marmalade as a welcome to the cottage. All very good quality and very tasty. Nice comfortable bed. Private parking space. Very quiet area. 16th century pub next to the cottage owned by the host (Jo) who is excellent.
Negative: Everything was spot on, our only issue was the shower isn't very powerful, but only a minor problem for us , wouldn't stop us returning though !
Summary: A relaxing weekend, with fab food at the Butchers Arms !
