Summary: We all loved Sonja's wonderful gite. Weather was extremely warm, Sonja thoughtfully left us plenty of fans and the pool was delightful to cool down in. Our dog Tia made friends with Hiccup (Sonja's Dog) who popped in to visit now and again. We could not ask for anything better and will certainly be making a further visit next year.

Summary: This gite is wonderful, half an hour walk along the river into the town, but so quiet. The property was immaculate as was the pool and garden area, all down to Sonja who was so helpful, she could'nt do enough for us, even getting a couple of bikes so we could get around, she is such a lovely lady as is Hiccup her gorgeous little dog. There are plenty of cafe/bars and restaurants in the town for all tastes, also a trip to Sarlat is a must. We had the most amazing stay here so much so we have booked for next year, everything you could ask for. We look forward to seeing Sonja and Hiccup next year. Can't wait. Julia & Rob Hollins

Summary: For peace and relaxation look no further. The house was spotless and very well equipped. It's the little things that make the difference, the way the pool was checked each day, small pots of flowers on outside tables, but it shows how much Sonja cares about the house and guest's holiday. Hiccup is such a lovely and well behaved dog, not to mention cute, gives you a welcome when you return and then goes back to her own house. Would we return again, without doubt!! We even tried to book for same time next year but sadly dates had already gone, and that says everything about this place. Many thanks Sonya, we loved every moment here.

Summary: We could not find any faults with this gite. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed inside with everything that was needed for our stay. What can I say about the outside? The pool is just perfect on a hot day, and the views are magnificent. The patio was just the place for me to have breakfast in the morning and read to relax at other times. Sonja is a fantastic host. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and the best places to go. Try the night market which is held in the town of Le Bugue every Tuesday night. You get a fabulous choice of food dishes for about 8 euros each and a nice bottle of wine for approx 5 euros. There is live music in both English and French, so there is something for both the traveler and the native French people. Everyone mixes and we had a great night. Make sure that you say hello to Hiccup, Sonja's little dog. She's a little cutie and she likes a bit of leftovers! All that is left for us to say is thank you Sonja for a lovely week. We loved the cottage and greatly enjoyed touring this lovely part of France. Cheers from the Saunders family. X

Summary: The cottage is well equipped , very clean , has a lovely setting . Sonia is very welcoming & had provided many extras in the cottage to make our stay more enjoyable . The swimming pool was an added bonus on the hot days . I would definitely recommend the cottage & hope we might return again another year .

Summary: Having stayed in several gites this was by far the best equipped. It was clean and well maintained and nothing was too much for Sonja. We had great weather most of the time although there was some rainy colder days. It is ideally placed for touring this area. House compact and good, grounds spacious, pool smallish but lovely.The walk into Le Bugue by the river for the croissants each morning took about an hour. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Summary: We had a fabulous 4 wks holiday in this superb gite. It was everything we could have wished for especially with the addition of a pool which was most welcome after a days sightseeing in the very hot weather. The gite was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Ideally located for touring the Perigord. We were made very welcome by Sonja who was very attentive & helpful throughout our stay and whom my wife and I are very happy to call our friend. The property is very highly recommended .

Summary: Sonja gave us a warm welcome to her comfortable, clean & well equipped gîte. The house was perfect for us and our 2 children & in easy reach of places of interest/activities (Sarlat and canoeing were highlights for us). The pool is private, clean and well maintained and our girls spent many hours having fun here especially as our visit coincided with a heat wave.The gîte is in walking distance from Le bugue which has pretty much all the amenities we needed including supermarkets, banks & restaurants. We had a great week here & would recommend this gîte. Many thanks Sonja!

Summary: A very warm welcome by Sonja, a nice and very clean and well equipped house (as we dutch say: gezellig!), good beds, great terras. Pool looked good, but as tempting as it was, the temperature was not yet swim-friendly! Big Like! Thanks Sonja for a great stay!
