Summary: Great place to stay and relax. Very private. Stayed before the Vermont 50 and it was perfect for some pre race relaxation and post race recovery. Heidi was very responsive and helpful. Very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Summary: Perfect location to stay for Dartmouth, or a weekend trip. Heidi was very responsive and accommodating. We wanted a late checkout so we could change after graduation before returning home, and they allowed us 4 additional hours at no extra charge. This was our first time staying in a rental, and the experience was great. I spent several hours sitting in the chair just watching and listening to the creek. The location is beautiful. The bar across the street was completely packed and was not allowing any additional customers, so we picked up dinner in Hanover and ate at the cabin. There is no cell service, so that was a nice break. I was able to make some necessary calls using facetime over the wifi and texting was fine. If we would have found this sooner, we would have spent the last 4 years staying there instead of hotels in Hanover.

Summary: We arrived the day after Christmas. Heidi was a wonderful communicator- and very friendly. Check in was easy. The little cottage, while close to other buildings, felt very private and lovely.. with large windows overlooking the darling brook right behind the house. The layout is thoughtful and comfortable. The bed is one of the best beds we have had at a short term rental. Very comfy. The wood stove that is pictured in the listing is not actually available to guests but with the radiant heated floors, we didn’t miss it! Though we were close to Woodstock, we stayed in every night and cooked- played games- read, strummed guitars- forgot about the world. Thank you Heidi. We will be back!

Summary: This is a charming cabin perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, while still being close to town. Very cozy cabin, gorgeous kitchen, and absolutely beautiful babbling brook right out the back door. Close to the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, which was wonderful. Heidi was a gracious host but she was out of town during our 2-day visit. She did leave a contact number but there is no cell phone coverage at the cabin, and the Internet was not working when we arrived. On the second day, I asked the neighbor for help, and she was lovely — but I really hated bothering her. When she found out about the Internet outage, Heidi allowed us to use the Internet in her office, which is located right next to the cabin. To her credit, she did her best to get it working in the cabin the morning after she learned of the outage. It seemed that the Internet outage was a fluke, but it did add some stress because we couldn’t easily check on things back home.
