cute cottage labeled, equipped to accommodate 4 people in any season; this very flowery cottage, in a green setting, located in Munster 68 at the beginning of the large valley set back from the road.
very comfortable, very neat, its location is a starting point for all hiking, cycling, 20 minutes from the ski slopes in winter, everything is possible.
to also visit Christmas and Easter markets, pretty Alsatian villages, market gardens, the wine route with its tasting cellars and the warm Alsatian atmosphere around a good glass of wine. Magnificent castles to discover, for example the very famous Haut Königsbourg. Also the road and the cheese house, tasting, buying, being informed, everything has been studied in order to satisfy you at best. In winter, when there is snow, it's quite a poem, the trees dripping with frost in the bitter cold, we only want to take the snowshoes and take a nice walk under a sky all blue. The cold is invigorating and to warm up, nothing like a good glass of mulled wine with cinnamon.
We also have a beautiful outdoor and indoor swimming pool located in a beautiful park.
You will see, the valley of Munster is one of the most beautiful in the Haut Rhin and the Alsatians are ready to make you discover the fauna, the flora, the many lakes and of course the gastronomy.

Summary: The hostess was very helpful and friendly. The chalet was very comfortable for an extended stay ( we were there 4 weeks. The location was great. We spent many hours on the covered patio admiring the scenery and the garden. Location is close to town but with a rural feel.

Summary: A very pleasant stay at a lovely chalet, which was very clean and well-equipped. It was an excellent base to explore the Alsace region and only a 15/20 min walk to Munster with various shops and restaurants. The train station at Luttenbach is only a 5 mins walk – a useful alternative to driving if visiting places such as Colmar or Strasbourg. Our hosts, Claudine and Michel were most accommodating and helpful.

Summary: A lovely stay at this cottage in Munster. It’s the perfect base to explore the surrounding villages of Alsace. The host makes you feel very welcomed and provides lots of creature comforts and advice. We’d definitely recommend a stay here.

Summary: An excellent place for relaxing and visiting the area and the Christmas markets. The owners were very kind, they also offer us a cake, some sweets and a bottle of good wine for the New Year. The house is exactly as described. Suggested!!!!!

Summary: The property was exactly as described and pictured. It was immaculately clean and very well equipped. We didn't find anything missing that we might have needed. One very small problem we encountered was immediately dealt with. The hosts, Claudine and Michel, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Not only was there masses of information about things to do in the region, but Claudine had gathered together the most useful and supplemented it with her own recommendations. The location was also excellent; right on the edge of Munster in a quiet street, but with the town within comfortable walking distance one way, and the village of Luttenbach in the other. There was plenty to do, whether up in the Vosges mountains, or in visiting museums in Munster, Colmar and other surrounding towns. Taking everything together, probably the best gite we have ever stayed in.

Summary: The bungalow was clean and attractive with everything we needed. The garden and outside area for sitting and eating was especially nice. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and they provide plenty of walking guides and tourist information. The area round Munster is lovely, and very interesting. There are many well signposted walking routes. Highly recommended.

Summary: Munster is a convenient place to start all sort of exciting explorations from. We were most happy to be based in Claudine Groff's chalet and to discover the Alsace area from this comfy base. Everything we needed was there: All the kitchen equipment you might need during a one week stay, comfortable beds and soft furniture, firewood for the lovely open fire, internet access and last but not least a delicious Gougelhoupf, home-made jam and drink on arrival. We could not have been made welcome. Munster itself is well worth a browse with its cute little shops and restaurants and from our base we had access to all the stunning areas of the Vosges. Would definitely recommend you staying here! Once again thank you Mme. Groff!
