Lemon-tree-cottage is located in the quiet hamlet of Corcitos just 2 km from the pretty village of Querença with its beautiful XIV century church, bar and restaurants and just 3Km from the new (2023) 18 hole Ombria golf resort . A tranquil haven away from the pressures of hectic modern-day life and yet, it is close to everything that you need (banks, supermarkets, pharmacies etc. in Loule). Corcitos is just 25~30 minutes easy drive from Faro airport and beaches and is ideally located to explore the whole Algarve. A day-trip into the Alentejo or Spain is easily achieved as Corcitos is well connected to the key roads. For those who want to enjoy country walks Lemon Tree Cottage is ideally placed. The track to the Fonte de Benemola passes within 30m the entrance to Lemon Tree Cottage. Walkers and birdwatchers on a 2 week stay can find a different walk every day without repetition.
The Cottage is located within fully fenced grounds of about 1.5 acres with entrance via remote control electronic gates. There are plenty of seating areas around the pool terrace and gardens to enjoy the sun or shade.
The orchard provides a variety of fruit (Orange, Lemon, Apricot, Plums, Pomegranate and Figs) which you can help yourself to when in season.
The pool is 12 x 5m and mildly saline, with about the same salinity of a tear drop. The pool was fully refurbished and re-tiled in Spring 2021 and has a maximum water depth of 1.40m. Pool chemicals are kept to a minimum. The swimming pool is solar heated and shared with the owners. The pool is located in the heart of the property, overlooking superb views and with shade available.
An outdoor rattan sofa set, and swing seat are available in partially shaded locations near the cottage to provide cooler spots for guests to enjoy. A gas BBQ is available.
WiFi and the main UK TV stations are available plus a selection of DVD's and books.
The cottage is fully air conditioned at no extra cost.
GREEN Credentials: Recycling bins for paper, plastic, glass and metal are provided in the cottage as are reusable shopping bags. A 16 unit solar tracking array generating 3.2Kw/hr and a further 14 unit solar array (providing a further 4.2Kw/hr) for the pool pump help us to keep energy neutral.
Lemon Tree Cottage sits in the grounds of the owners home. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens at any time.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay - Lemon Tree Cottage is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area. Trevor and Alicia are fantastic hosts and provided everything we could possibly need for our holiday - from towels for the pool to deck chairs and beach umbrellas and even a cool box for picnics. They live on site so are nearby to sort out any issues - particularly useful if you lock yourselves out on the first day, as we did! (Tip - take the keys outside with you so you can always get back in). The cottage is beautiful (excellent air con) and the huge pool was an instant hit with us all. Fabulous gardens and the view is breathtaking. (Tip - bring insect repellent for the evenings). Situated in the hills and a bit 'out of the way', the area is very quiet and you will need a car - we found driving very easy and safe - everyone seems very friendly and courteous on the roads. We enjoyed visiting the town of Loule and the harbour at Vilamoura and highly recommend a guided kayak tour around the costal caves at Benagil. We travelled with 2 teenage sons and they enjoyed the pool and chilling on the sunbeds. For bright lights and excitement we visited Albufeira which thankfully has an escalator down to the beach! The boys were happy to enjoy a burger and watch football on the massive screens! Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lemon Tree Cottage. Thank you Trevor and Alicia.

Summary: Perfect surroundings grate pool 140cm overall = no cold water but app. 28C all time. Very friendly hosts and very helpfull😃 Amazing garden. Just outside you reach a lot of tracks and if you walk on the public road there will be almost no cars/traffic. I never visit a place with such quiet road. Just perfect placement to reach beach/cities and other nature within 30min. Thanks for a lovely stay😎

Summary: We loved the Lemon Cottage, it was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to spend our days by the pool and go village exploring at the end of the afternoon. We did just that and loved it. The fig tree provided us with daily fig amazing luxury every day. The pool is heated and super beautiful and clean, lots of towels for our 15 days stay. The only little problem was the internet, there is no internet or smart TV in the Cottage. We used our own smart phones as hotspots for internet.

Summary: We have had a great 2 weeks in Lemon Tree Cottage. Trevos was very helpfull with just everything! His recommendations of restaurants were right on top. The pool and the garden were just fantastic. There is absolutely no reason not to return en every reason to do return.

Summary: Lemon Tree Cottage is a perfect place to relax in a beautiful setting whilst in fairly easy reach by car of the main Algarve attractions. The pool area and garden are an oasis of tranquillity - the pool itself was a decent size for a grown up family of four. There are no shops particularly nearby so you have to be organised but we didn't find that a problem. The inside of the property has everything you need and we spent virtually all waking hours outside anyway. Trevor and Alicja were extremely friendly and helpful and respect your space at all times while obviously needing to undertake basic pool maintenance. Would recommend this property unreservedly.

Summary: If you want lovely walks, challenging cycle rides, clear night skies, lovely country views, silence, wonderful hosts, large swimming pool, lovely accommodation then this is a place you should seriously consider. Only 35 mins away from Faro airport and the coastal ports and beaches, you can have the best of both. It's the 3rd time we have been to Lemon tree cottage.

Summary: Great place to stay for walking, touring and only 25 minutes from the coast away from the tourists! Near lovely market town of Loulé where we went to the big Carnival last Sunday. My wife and I will definitely come again in the future.
