Summary: This was our second time staying at this lovely property. It was nice to see it in fall. The area is so close to everything in the Catskills that you want to see/do. The house is comfy and perfect for a couple or 3 or 4 adults. The property is stunning and there are several comfortable sitting areas. The screened in porch is invaluable in the summer. The view is gorgeous. We will definitely stay again. We love it!

Summary: We loved our stay at the Country Retreat. The house was perfect for four of us. Everything was comfortable and functional. Note:There is no air conditioning in the house other than the two bedroom air conditioners. That worked out fine for us as the weather up there was lovely that weekend. The house is small enough that those air conditioners cooled the whole house when the bedroom doors were left open. The real star of this property is the outside. There are several areas with comfy seating to sit and look out over the valley. The view is spectacular. We relaxed and sat and looked out over everything. The screened in porch is wonderful and we loved sitting there having coffee and watching a rain storm. We were so happy that the weather was nice enough to enjoy the outside areas. Having the beautiful pool was a fantastic feature. This property really had everything we needed and more. It was a lovely long weekend. The drive to Bethel and Woodstock is easy and scenic. We’d love to come back in other seasons to see this gorgeous property.

Summary: Only one word needed…PERFECTION!!! It’s clean, quiet (but also just a few minutes from town) and has beautiful views. Jolene is an amazing host. Can’t ask for anything better than this!

Summary: LOVED screened porch ( If you're sensitive to bug bites, use spray inside there too) marvelling at symphony of different peepers at night. Every so often a snake would make an appearance on the stone decks --- part of the experience of being on cliff rocks in the woods! Cottage is adorable, clean, comfy beds. Jolene is one of the best VRBO hosts ever!

Summary: This is our fourth stay at Goat Hill and just as magical as the first. Jolene is always the sweetest and most responsive host! This place never disappoints. It’s the most beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and homey house in the area. We can’t wait to book our next visit.

Summary: We came to Goat Hill from CA as we were in the area for the wool/fiber festivals being held over the weekend. This property and amenities exceeded our expectations in a most wonderful way! The view was breathtaking and the house so very comfortable and cozy when it rained. We got in late the night we arrived and felt well taken care of when we saw the foods and thoughtful touches throughout the house. It felt like we were visiting the house of some dear friends. It was easy to get to/from where we needed to go and provided the spectacular nature show all around us that we had hoped to find. We would return in a heartbeat! ....and hopeful we will.
