Summary: We were put on the second floor above where construction was taken place. When we checked in we were not told this and there was no sign of it at that time. We found out by being woken up to pounding below us. We declined housekeeping during our stay. We left the garbage can outside our day. When we returned, we found that our room had been made up. This put us on edge since we declined the service and had the do not disturb sign on our door. I made all of this aware at check out and it was not acknowledged.

Summary: Everything was great! The shower head was not so great. Water pressure was awesome but the type of shower head not so great. It was laser pointed with high pressure consistency.

Summary: Check-in was efficient, our beds were comfortable. The building fire alarm went off at 8:30am for 10 minutes. We exited but no staff ever offered an explanation, told us it was safe/not safe to reenter, or checked on guests. Our shower handle was broken and we had no hot water. The front desk said they would send maintenance to fix it but never did so our choices were ice cold showers or to not shower. At check out, staff apologized but said they couldn’t refund any money because we booked through on online source. Instead they offered us 4 to-go drinks from their Marketplace refrigerator.

Summary: The room was very clean and I got a suite so it was very roomy with a great balcony. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work and it took two calls to the front desk to get it fixed, the guy who fixed it was very polite and did so quickly. It looked like the rooms at the other end of hall were updated but we didn’t get one of those. My guess is Hotels.com buys up the older rooms for a cheaper rate. No breakfast or extras coffee included. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby.
