Water Front Property located on beautiful Deep Cove, just off the Lighthouse Rte. 329 on Deep Cove Road. Cove's Mooring is a lovely Cape Cod style 3 bedroom home with 2 bathrooms, (ensuite) with Jacuzzi and Shower. We have free WIFI.
This property sits over the Cove with flowered garden, natural fauna, which allows you to enjoy the wildlife, birds, and our famous Hummingbirds. Sit with a glass of wine on the patio as the sailboats/yachts, and watercraft come into the Cove for the day, or moor overnight. In the evening look up into the sky enjoy the stars in the darkness. Early mornings - watch the birds, kayak the cove, take a nature walk, or watch the shore birds, or even bald eagles who come into the Cove to feed. Walk down to the wharf, just in front of your water front property and fish for dinner, or enjoy a quick swim off the dock. All renters have access to our Wharf, just step away from the house. (no access to boat slips)
Just a short distance is the famous Bayswater Beach renowned for its beautiful, crescent-shaped beach. The community is spread along the coast and inland. The residents are friendly and welcome visitors to this lovely area. Every weekend during the summer many families from Halifax and local communities are to be found enjoying the sunshine on Bayswater Beach. Across the road from Bayswater Beach is a well-kept Provincial Picnic Park, with a small freshwater lake on the inland side. All in all, a lovely spot in which to relax.

The road leaves the shoreline at Bayswater, heading south to Blandford, just a few kilometres away, and back to Deep Cove. Go North along 329 and follow Lighthouse Rte to Peggy's Cove.

This home is on Deep Cove, a deep cove used by many sailors to bring their boats in from the open ocean. As the cove has a deep entrance you can sit and watch all day boats of all sizes coming into your front room, as this house is directly across from the wharf, with fantastic views.
Deep Cove is ideal for kayaking, and they can be rented locally. If you enjoy hiking some of the best hiking trails are just minutes away. Biking is a very popular sport in this area with many bike paths, and local races. Bikes and kayaks can be rented and delivered to your door.
Chester- picturesque seaside village of Chester overlooks Mahone Bay and has two natural harbours; Front Harbour on the East and Back Harbour on the West. The waters of Mahone Bay, with its numerous islands, are well known for yachting. A ferry connects the village to two islands nearby - Big Tancook Island and Little Tancook Island. known for it's village, sailing, and yearly yacht races in August. Enjoy the village shops, and the many places to enjoy dinner, breakfast, and great sea food dishes.
30 minute drive will find you in the UNESCO town of Lunenburg - home of our famous "Blue Nose".
Take the Ferry over to Tancook Island for the day from Chester.
45 minute drive to Halifax - and 45 minutes to the Famous Peggy's Cove.
