Colony Club D8 is a beautiful two-bedroom, two-bathroom Gulf Shores Vacation Rental. This unit is a second-floor walk-up that sleeps 6. The kitchen has new granite counter tops and hardwood floors throughout the kitchen and living area. This unit offers 3 TV’s, a DVD player and internet access. This is a great central location, approximately a 3-mile drive south to the sugar white beaches of Gulf Shores or go north a few miles to The Tanger Outlet Mall where you can shop till you drop! The complex features a pool, hot tub, fitness room and lighted tennis courts. The complex does not have an elevator. Each reservation will be issued wristbands to access the pool area. If the wristbands are not returned at check-out there will be a $25 replacement fee per wristband. FREE WIFI. This Gulf Shores Rental is located at 6194 Gulf Shores Parkway which is roughly 3.5 miles from the beach. NO WINTER MONTHLY RENTALS. This property allows up to two vehicles per reservation. No trailers. NON- Smoking, No Elevator.

Parking passes can be purchased from the Clubhouse onsite upon arrival. Please pick those up upon arrival to avoid a warning/fine for not having a parking pass.
THIS UNIT DOES NOT ALLOW MONTHLY RENTALS.
There will be a fine charged to guests if towels or other items are hung over balconies, bicycles are left in common areas, cars on their axle, excessive noise during quiet time, unauthorized parking and glass in the pool area.
This is a friendly reminder about age requirements for amenity use at Colony Club.
1) Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult owner when inside the main clubhouse.
2) Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using the exercise/weight room.
3) Minors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult when entering and using pool area.
4) Minors/children under 12 are not permitted in the hot tub/spa at any time.
**Only the grills on the grounds are to be used. Renters are NOT allowed to bring their own grill. There will be a fine and the grill will be removed if found.
Fun events and festivals happen throughout the year. The Wharf is home to live entertainment, shopping, and movie theaters. Not only does Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have movie theatres but also an amusement park with fun for the whole family! If you like water parks, putt- putt golf, or riding go carts - all is nearby. For the tennis players, there are plenty of free public courts. Bike rentals are also available in the area.

Summary: If I had to make a complaint, and I don't, it was the lack of oven mitts and pasta strainer. We just simply ran out and bought those things and left them there for the next guest! My teenager insisted on building a sand castle, so we also left the sand toys in case the next guests had small children. We absolutely loved meeting the security ducks that repeatedly circled the pool enclosure, we named them Richard and Gladys. I could literally go on and on about how amazing our trip was, but I do highly recommend this unit to anybody looking to stay in Gulf Shores! In 3 years, my daughter graduates high school and I permanently leave New York and move to the foley/gulf Shores area! I cannot wait! Thank you to Sunset properties for overseeing the rental, and for my birthday cake and birthday card! That also brought customer service to an amazing level!

Summary: The property is located in a convenient area. It is located a few miles from one of our favorite beachs near the popular Hangout. The place was clean and the pictures accurately depicted it. There is some signs of aging with the carpet, and the main bedroom door did not lock. If I had any complaints, it would be there were only one roll of TP for each bathroom and one trash bag for the week, but there was a Walmart close by, so we just went and bought those things for the week. The pool passes were missing when we arrived (with three kids this was important), so we notified the owner, who responded promptly and said the previous tenants had mistakenly taken them and someone would drop new passes off the following day. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up or contacted us, so we made do.

Summary: We only had a couple issues, Some of the owners were very nice and a couple were annoying. When we sat on the balcony we were always looked at. We were getting ready to leave and set the trash by the door so I could grab my things and a man came down complaining at my son about the trash that sat for less than 5 min. Also there needs to be a very visible note on line when booking about which entrance to use because there is a code required for the front gate. Overall the stay was good, like I said some of the owners were very nice! It is in a good location. Make sure you have toilet paper when you arrive cause we had none in the room to start us off
