Summary: We stayed in late October over Halloween and the conditions were perfect for this time of year! We didn’t get out on the water but we did enjoy the sound of wind in the trees and we saw a few deer including some baby deer eating wild berries right in the back yard so that was awesome. The cabin was very cozy and kept us warm even when the temperature took a dive overnight. Definitely would recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place to get away from the Trick or Treaters 😂

Summary: We drove from Wisconsin with our dog to stay for 3 nights for my husband’s birthday and it was like we were in a dream! The most basic but well equipped cabin! The absolute deal breaker of the property is the trail that leads to the channel where you have access to kayaks and can go out on the surrounding lakes. Core memories were made! They have a fire pit, 2 bikes, outdoor swings and a small slide, corn hole and board games. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cabin was clean. The communication from the host was by far the best and we have stayed at a handful of VRBO rentals. Check in was extremely easy. The cabin is definitely off back roads but in the most peaceful area. It does have well water so we had no problem getting water from the store for our stay. Kitchen was well equipped and there is also a dog water and food bowl as well as some balls for the pups to play with. We are already planning on bringing our friends back to experience this slice of heaven!!!

Summary: Nice cottage in the woods. We didn’t venture to the water, however we enjoyed the peaceful backyard and the fire pit in the evening. We were able to walk outdoors with our two Maltese male dogs, 13 and 12 years old and just enjoy the outdoors. It was a good experience and peaceful there. Thank you to the host!
