Summary: Nice place to stay while visiting relatives in Philly. Owner very nice. Will definitely stay here again!

Summary: We loved our stay here while in Philadelphia. This place is a short drive downtown and if you park at the independence hall before 9:00 it is only 14 bucks for the day. Avoid the crowds of downtown. Plenty of rooms and comfortable beds. We would stay here again.

Summary: Excellent response times from the owner. My wife was a bit concerned that someone was living in the basement, which had separate entrance. I didn't hear any noises, but she did. The owner did ask if he could retrieve some things from the basement and I said that I was fine with that. Otherwise, the property was quiet, all appliances functioned well and the AC was adequate during a heat wave. Beds were comfortable. Wifi and TVs were good, too.

Summary: Older house as new homeaway option. We mostly used the home for sleep. All bedrooms are upstairs, as also the only bathroom. For the four of us, it’s a bit slow taking turns using the bathroom at night and in the morning. The towels are plenty and good quality. I could see for people wanting to eat in, how a dinning set outside the kitchen would be necessary. We ate out the whole time so did not care. But we surely missed a coffee maker to use which I suppose is truly a necessity for any HomeAway properties. All in all, we love the location that’s 5min drive to Swarthmore College where we were visiting and truly appreciated the cool air that was left on for us as the weather was hot and humid! Will consider staying again.

Summary: The place was nice but i would recommend a dining room table for guests to eat at. There were no chairs in kitchen or area at bar.

Summary: I was visiting my parents who are in a nursing home in Glen Riddle and this was the perfect location to stay with my 2 year old daughter. It’s a very family friendly location with a CVS and sandwich shop and Wawa all a couple of minutes away. The master bedroom is great and has an amazingly comfy bed. Linens and towels were provided which was helpful. There was room to set up the pack n play in the guest room, The patio was awesome to sit out and relax and also let my daughter play. The only downside was that there wasn’t a kitchen table or coffee maker. Something small would suffice and it wasn’t a huge deal for us bc we usually eat standing up and chasing my 2 year old around but others may want to sit and eat their meal. A cheap coffee maker would also be an added bonus, but overall this place was awesome and we’ll definitely book again for any future visits.

Summary: The price to stay here is very attractive compared to a hotel. We are originally from the Delco area so we were very familiar with the area the house is located. We cancelled our hotel reservation and booked this home instead. The location was very convenient as my in laws home was literally within 2 miles. The home provided more comfortable sleeping arrangements than the hotel we normally stay at. It provides easy access to all areas of delco. There was plenty of space to cook and prepares meals though we ate out most of our stay. There is only one bathroom but there was plenty of hot water for showers. The house is located in a very nice Swarthmore neighborhood and we had a nice driveway area to park our car. The owner was very responsive to communications and available if any issues were to arise. We will definitely consider this house for any future trips that we make to visit relatives as it provided a very convenient and economical alternative to the hotels in the area.
