Cozy 3BR house located in downtown Ithaca. Offstreet parking. Spacious yard. Easy walking distance to the Farmers Market, Purity Ice Cream, and to the Commons. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room and den. On site amenities include: WiFi, two computers, washer/dryer, oven, cooking gear, full sized fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, fresh towels and linens. Perfect for familes, students and larger groups for extended stays.
The Space:
Located across the street from the Quaker meeting house, this property is one of the few in the area with a huge backyard. Perfect for family barbeques. Can comfortably lodge up to five people, 408 Madison has all the amenities, including great WiFi and a computer. A fully equipped kitchen saves on dining costs, and makes for a "homely" atmosphere. Having a washer/drier on site is convenient for longer term stays, and saves a trip to the laundromat.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house and the yard, nobody else will be living in the same dwelling. The neighbors are very friendly. No part of the house is "restricted" or anything like that.
The Neighborhood:
Ideally located, this house is just a five to ten minute walk from the Ithaca Farmers Market, and a ten to 15 minute walk to the commons. A convenience store and bowling alley are just a block away, as is a discount grocery store. A beautiful, child-friendly park is less than a block away and tons of restaurants are nearby.

Multiple bus routes are just one or two blocks away.

Summary: We stayed for just one night, and most of us didnt want to use the shower. Was not very clean, low maintained, old house. Was OK for our needs, not more than that

Summary: Went with family to visit my son at Ithaca College. Walking distance to a number of restaurants and the commons. Plenty of space to hang out together or have some private time. Porch swing is awesome.

Summary: Stayed with my family to visit my daughter at Cornell. Very clean, easy check in and check out, quiet neighborhood and lots of supplies. Very close to everything including the school which was fantastic. Owner very communicative and friendly. I would 100% stay again!

Summary: Group of 6 recent graduates returned to Ithaca and enjoyed our stay in the Fall Creek neighborhood. For the Ithaca housing and short-term rental market, this was one of few available options in the Downtown Ithaca area and provided a very pleasant stay. The host provided plenty of linens and answered all of our questions. Home could have been slightly cleaner but that is only a mild con. Perfect to sleep 6 (could even squeeze a few more if needed) and would recommend to anyone!
