Summary: Overall excellent. This is a great place and location for a small reunion or going to a West Point football game. Six of us were very comfortable and we could have fit more people as well. Way better than a hotel and the check-in and check-out were without issue. Overall recommended.

Summary: Luckily, we asked about kitchen supplies ahead of time to find out that there were very few. The owner was kind enough to send the cleaning crew to buy the basics. However, when we arrived the kitchen was filthy. It looked like grease was smeared all over the counters, and food spatters and handprints were everywhere. There was food caked inside the coffee mugs and bowls. Please be aware that the stairs are not to code, as they are very steep and half the width they should be to fit a woman's small foot. There is no bathroom for two of the bedrooms. These problems made it very difficult to decide on sleeping arrangements for everyone. We believe the owner should hire a new cleaning crew, and change the description of the listing to more accurately describe the set up.

Summary: The house was much nicer than expected. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only issue we had was a power issue due to a bad fuse, but the host fixed it super fast for us! Would recommend!

Summary: PROS — we had a great visit with our son during Acceptance Day weekend at West Point. The home was within the allowable distance and shopping/restaurants nearby. Dining table was large for our party of 10. Driveway provided 3+ car off street parking. Quiet neighborhood. Excessive **CONS** — we shared a LONG LIST of issues with the owner and property manager. The home was quite dirty, kitchen not well stocked, musty smelling throughout, lawn not freshly cut. Basement suite is more basement than “sweet.” Narrow steps upstairs and downstairs. Of the 3 bathrooms, guests felt comfortable using 1 of the 3. We were embarrassed as we hosted my in-laws and brother’s family. The home has potential and we were grateful overall for the visiting space it allowed for a special weekend. For the price paid, this was a bad experience overall.

Summary: This place was exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. It was very nicely decorated and furnished and the laundry machines were a nice perk. The location is great and the host even gave us an extended check out when we needed it.
