Summary: For the most part, the property was as described and generally was clean and presentable. However the sink in the bathroom was surrounded by black mold. And obvious health concern that needs to be fixed. Surprised that it had not been addressed given the overall general appearance of the accommodation

Summary: House is in a very fun and eclectic neighborhood, very walkable, lots of dining and shopping. Neighborhood itself is very quiet. Room is a basement, upstairs neighbors are a couple with a small child, so the room was not always the most quiet before bedtime. After bedtime, very quiet. Neighbors were very friendly. We slept well. Room is small, with very small bathroom and small shower, but no problem for us. Communication with the host was by email and text, but instructions were very clear.

Summary: Just because a dog is on site the noise above the unit should not be excessive at 4:15 am. Also the irrigation system running then at 6 am for an hour was disruptive. Excessive inconsiderate noise, stomping and dropping things made me feel the host cares more about money than being considerate to guests. If you want a quiet night's sleep DO NOT STAY HERE

Summary: Mould needs removing in bathroom sink area and in shower. Some walls had mould. No kitchen sink to wash dishes. Badly needs 2 cups for coffee, 2 cereal bowls, and 2 wine glasses. Our luggage was covered in ants in the morning. Suggest placing some ant traps. Whole unit was damp and chilly.

Summary: Communication was great ! Towels were dirty & there were ants everywhere. No drinking water. Bed was comfy ! Overall 2/5 star accommodation. Local location to commercial drive.

Summary: I liked the whole place, as advertised. The only challenge was that the shower is a smallish stand up shower, which was a little tough to navigate (I'm 6 ft 3 in and 220 lbs) ... So for most folks, that wouldn't really be an issue.

Summary: Great location. Place exactly as pictured. Comms and checkin very smooth. Very clean and comfortable. The dog from upstairs is the most beautiful and lovable creature. One quibble. Even for a place with no kitchen a couple of extra cups and plates and a few other kitchen things (eg containers etc) would make a big difference.
