The Cottage is situated in a quiet Courtenay neighbourhood called Lake Trail. It is close to downtown core and amazing outdoor spaces like Puntledge River Park. In the summer, tubing down the Puntledge is quite the experience. Mount Washington is 30 minutes away for hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. Mt. Washington now has the longest zip line on Vancouver Island.
The Cottage is a brand new tiny bachelor home suitable for 1 person or a couple. It is totally self-contained and private. Children and infants are welcome but cribs are not available.
The double sized sofa bed has a new 5.5 inch memory foam mattress and linens are 100% cotton.
Outdoor space includes a garden and pond and there is a seating area set aside for guests.
We are LGBT2+ supportive.
There is a shower, livingroom with tv and Netflix and a kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, milk and sugar.

Summary: Very cute little cottage with all you need for your stay. Lovely garden! Only difficulty is the pull out couch bed. Once it is pulled out you can not get to the other side without climbing over the other person in the bed as the foot of the bed is right at the wall. Not great if you need to get up in the night.

Summary: This tiny cottage was perfect for a single person seeking a quiet stay. The cottage has everything you need, and nothing that you don’t. The little garden with a bubbling brook provided privacy and a tranquil setting to relax and unwind. Carol is an exceptional host who is responsive if/when you need her, but is otherwise happy to leave you be.

Summary: I really want the little cabin. It was perfect for one person and had everything I needed. The area is lovely and convenient to food and resources. Carol is a great host and has a lot of local knowledge. I will stay again.

Summary: Carol was an excellent host. Every detail was included; like handmade soap, peppermint chocolates, fruit, milk, coffee, key in door, great communication, it couldnt be any better! This is the very first time we stayed in a tiny home and we have to say it was fun and didn't reduce the quality of our trip one bit. The garden area and pond are like an oasis. It is walking distance to all restaurants too. We felt safe. The turtle decor and pottery mugs etc..so adorable. Will definitely return. Courtney is like a mini Nelson, BC, wirhout the big price tag. Loved loved the host, the cottage and the area.
