The apartment is located in the Carciano district, 50 meters from a supermarket, restaurant and bar. At 600 meters there is the Lido with restaurant-bar, the departures of the boats to the Borromean Islands and the cable car to the Mottarone.

Summary: This property was excellent. Good location to the town only 15 mins walk. As the property is up slightly from the main road it takes a few minutes longer on the way back. However as we were attending a wedding and my wife was wearing high heels the host kindly ran us into town. The weather during our stay was very hot however our accommodation remained cool. Overall we would recommend this property to stay in and if for longer stays the kitchen is well equipped.

Summary: We loved staying in this cosy, lovely Italian apartment. The garden was great and we enjoyed spending every morning there eating breakfast. The location is great (just a 15 minute walk from Stresa centre) and the view from the kitchen was just amazing Overlooking the lake and seeing the mountains in the distance was just like a painting.

Summary: Giuseppe and Fiametta were the perfect hosts. Giuseppe not only picked us up at the alibus stop but also dropped us off at the train station. They were extremely kind and generous with helping us find local restaurants, ideas for sightseeing excursions and provided a wonderful parting gift...a dvd of local sights. The apartment was everything you would want in a local home. The grocery store that was within easy walking distance had everything one needs including tasty prepared meals.

Summary: Nothing fancy but good for 2 adults and 2 kids. The only thing I can think of as a minus us the shower, very little power. We loved the local restaurant where the kids could play.
