Welcome to A Texas Treasure in Terramar! This home is truly a gem tucked away in the beautiful community of Terramar Beach. This lovely 3 bedroom 2 bath spacious beach house has so much to offer. The large open entry beautifully decorated will invite you into the cozy living area. The large smart TV, cozy sectional, extra dining space, and wonderful beach decor will take you away to your relaxation spot. The fully stocked kitchen, large island, and dining table are perfect for cooking, playing games, and enjoying family and friends. Just outside the door, you can enjoy the beautiful canal views from any of the three dining or lounging areas which include 3 loungers, 4 Polywood Adirondack chairs, and a dining table with seating for 6.
The upstairs space is reserved for the main guests where there is a king-size bed and your private ensuite. There is also a lovely balcony for two guests to enjoy a nightcap and the sea air. Bedroom two is beautifully decorated and has a comfortable queen-sized bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the downstairs shower/tub combo bathroom. The third bedroom is a bunk room for 3 additional guests.
On the ground level, there is a comfortable hammock for taking in the sea breeze. An outdoor shower is offered for rinsing off after a day at the beach. In the evening you can enjoy the large fishing dock while casting a line just outside the green fishing light. If you are lucky you can get your fresh catch of the day while enjoying it cooked on the charcoal grill in the evening. This magical getaway is a short drive to the beach or community pool (no additional fee). There is a boat ramp in the community (no permit required). Although the owner stores his boat in the lift, there are bumpers installed that allow guests to tie up to the exterior of the boat dock. The driveway offers plenty of space for cars and your boat trailer.
This home is in the sought-after community of Terramar Beach. In addition to the swimming pool and boat dock, this quiet community also offers a fishing dock and disc golf receptacles. It is the perfect location for a family to swim, fish, enjoy beach time, and unwind.
The city of Galveston is about 25 minutes away. The historic Strand is another wonderful place to shop for souvenirs, boutique shopping, enjoy LaKings ice cream, or one of the great restaurants. In addition to the beach, and historic locations to visit, Galveston has Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Moody Gardens, and the Pleasure Pier. You will want to stay the extra day to get it all in.

Summary: This property is absolutely stunning, they supplied everything we needed, easy access to the home with the key box. I would surely stay at this home again and again. The only downfall is those front stairs, I seriously left there with stronger legs!! 😏

Summary: The House at Terramar Beach was everything the the listing showed in text and pictures. We were very happy with house. The amenities were top notch. The great deck out back was overlooking the canal the house is set on. During the day, it was great to just hang out and enjoy the sun. We had a few hiccups, nothing major. The wifi would go in and out and the smoke alarm would always beep. I took care of it myself by replacing the battery. Be sure to connect to the host by text instead of email.

Summary: The “Why Waite” home is pretty big and spacious..there was an additional room including 2 twin size beds that wasn’t in the description; so that was an added plus..the fridge was stocked with cool beverages..that ii didn’t expect..and the neighborhood is fairly new so the property is beautiful..ii had a wonderful stay for my birthday.. What I wish could have been better was upon arrival the patio furniture was in the kitchen; but it was no big deal to move it outside..the kitchen sink had a few dirty dishes in it..but nothing to major to place in the dishwasher..the master bathroom had dirty towels in the vanity sinks..but we just placed them in the wash..and there seems to have been dog hair everywhere..that was pretty hard to look over..but we made it work..other than those cons..it was a pretty nice house to make a temporary home for the wkd..ii would consider returning for my next Galveston vacation..
